Great place for wine and some tapas. The plates are actually slightly larger than other tapas places and they also have pintxos which gives more options and a bit different style to the regular spanish place. Nice atmosphere for a relatively short evening with some wine, not very comfy to sit there for ages. Much better though in terms of food, prices and staff compared to nearby tapas places.

Welcoming & helpful service. French toasted brioche with marmalade & Iberico ham, a delightful sweet/sour flavour hit. Also shredded crab with lemon aioli on toasted bread. Simply presented, £18 in total for the two dishes from Pintxos section of the menu. Not cheap but very satisfying, quick & tasty lunch.

Wonderful experience tonight for a farewell dinner with a friend who is going to leave london soon. Food we ordered was very nice and some was ordered more than once as it was too delicious. Cocktail was ok Service was good. They double confirmed with us how many portions we needed for the dishes, I reckon they have improved based on a customer’s review. We dined outside to enjoy the lovely summer evening. The staff told us to keep an eye on our belongings as it is not very safe on this street. Thanks for the headsup

Updated: Third visit now, and still actively excellent. Still the best octopus I've had in London, by far - probably the best I've had outside Japan. Croquettes amazing. Crab perfectly seasoned. Black rice with seafood rich and generously-propirtioned. Pulled goat succulent, on the best crumpet I've ever had. Wine list great.

Overall the food were all pretty tasty except the squid ink rice with baby squid. We had the croquettes, basque cheese cake, grilled octopus, bacalau pintxos (fried cod over bread), tortilla with eggplants (I usually don’t eat eggplants but it was done really well), patatas bravas with spicy sauce (the sauce could be separated or else it become so soggy), beef pate, padron peppers, they were all lovely. However, I was really disappointed with the squid ink rice with baby squid, I was so looking forward to it but it’s just tasteless, and the rice was so overcooked. We told a black curly hair waitress and she just replied ‘we don’t season it.’ Which doesn’t make any sense at all when you seasoned all other dishes, and it’s not just about not seasoned too, there’s no seafood flavour at all when you ordered a seafood dish. All other staff were really kind and helpful except the black curly hair lady.
