Famz Peri Peri

I have been eating here for 5-6 years and the wings are incredible and crispy. Chips are nice and the burger and everything is amazing so far. Service is moderately quick, not bad. But since it’s Gants Hill there’s some weird people that hang out and eat in that shop such as wannabe roadmen that like to get rude for no reason. But that’s not the restaurants fault. Apart from that this is 10/10 food.

Made an order to take away, which I got peri peri chicken wrap, on its own, and a zinger chicken wrap as a meal, with chips and a drink. I asked the member of staff how long the order will take to arrive and was told 10-12 minutes, which was pretty much bang on. As I was collecting my order, I was asked if I wanted a sprinkliing of some peri salt over my chips, to which I dutifully obliged. The wraps are a decent size and the chips are a really generous amount too. I actually got a drink from one of their machines, a ‘lemon twist’. The peri chicken wrap, medium spice, was really tasty. Chichken was tender and moist and the flavours were really great. The accompanying mayo and salad in the wrap balanced the flavours nicely. The chips were cooked well and tasted great too, however the sprinkling of peri salt was not that much to be honest. It didn’t cost extra so no harm done in that sense, but still would’ve liked more. I could’ve asked for a more generous sprinkling, I suppose. The zinger wrap was fine, without being spectacular. I think it lacked the crunch and spice one would normally associate with a zinger wrap, but still an okay wrap. The lemon twist drink was fine, with a nice tangyness to it. Overall, this is a really good place to enjoy a a really good casual meal that is value-for-money. Staff were prompt as well. I do hope to try out other items on the menu.
