Thunderbird Fried Chicken

I really liked the vibe of Thunderbird and its menu & modern ordering kiosks offered a lot of innovative flavors (like Korean Yuzu wings, loaded tots and biscoff churros). Everything we had was decent; the chicken was tender and well cooked, the tots were perfectly seasoned and sauced, and the churros were mostly delightful. I wasn't super impressed by the sauces on the chciken or the excessive oils on the churros but overall I was glad to have tried it!

Damn these are some good wings… I wish we had a place like this in Alanya. I had the Detroit wings and they tasted amazing. But I gotta say, don't underestimate the size of the wings! I ordered 8 and I could only barely finish them. The music is alright. It's an interesting mix to say the least. A couple of great tracks played while I was there. Definitely better than KFC!

Spending 6 days in London , we always check out places to eat other than the hotel we stay at. Saw the reviews for Thunderbird Fried Chicken & was right in the mood for just that. Ok , it wasn't that busy when we went in , put the order in on the automated ordering board, was given a number & sat at a table. Well, it arrived really quickly from the really friendly, welcoming staff. We both had the 5 strips meal with dip, chips / tater tots & a drink. Here's the best bit, it was honestly , the best fried chicken I've ever had. Fresh, hot & totally delicious, crispy, not greasy. If this is the standard of fried chicken , then I'm in . 5* , hopefully a return visit before we leave :-)
