solid prices and that is the highlight, for both food and drink. as an non ucl student who ‘snuck in’ the crowd was not the best, however, the cheap prices cannot be overstated. pizza, while just above average tasted exactly like the thornbury local in melbourne which is a pro and a con, depending on one’s views of the local.

i love this place. spent 90% of the time i was on campus in this bar. probably why i got a third class degree but thats beyond point, what matters is cheap pints and great company which this bar amazingly offers during its very generous (for a london student bar ) opening times

Perfect spot for cheap drinks and food. Deals on cocktails (£12 for 2), pint and a pizza (vegan available) for around £12. Lovely outdoor terrace. Only 20mins walk to Kings Cross. Free water at the bar and free water fountain near toilets.

Was looking forward to some early evening (7pm) beers with a pal. Due to shortage of security staff, we had to queue for ages as a 1-in-1-out was in force. Gave up after 25 mins, left thirsty and disappointed.

Excellent vibe and great place for a chilled after work drink - possibly the cheapest pint in London! Recently refurbished so a lovely place to drink. Possibly the only place in London you can still get a pint for under £4
