Taro - Finchley Central

Taro is slightly bit pricier than other Japanese restaurants at the similar level. However, their staff and dining environment in this branch are great. My regular order is the unaju bento, which I find a good deal considering the variety of dishes and the size it comes with. Their salmon sashimi and sushi are great and comforting. The miso soup is also delicate. It’s kind of nice and relaxing to come have dinner on weekday evening as it’s quiet and peaceful in this restaurant. It’s very common to see people come alone to enjoy their personal Japanese moment with a plate of edamame/takoyaki/sushi and a pint of Asahi.

Lovely Japanese restaurant in Finchley Central! Never been before but we came for the first time for dinner and it didn't disappoint. Ordered the chicken karaage bento and my friend had the duck teriyaki, both of which were delicious. Despite the bento box being a bit pricey, it was so filling we didn't need to order anything else.

One of the best eats I have! What stand out are the service ( friendly,welcoming staff),and the food ( very tasty,fresh,clean taste- grilled teriyake tuna on rice.The tuna was grilled to perfection- the crusty outside,yet,it didn't lost it's moistness inside,just delicious! The teriyake sauce is not overpowering,too.And,it's just on the high street from Finchley Central station,and,it has a cozy atmosphere,too.
