Good location near the bus station. The food is good and they have good offers. The staff are friendly and they helped quite quickly , in time for me to catch my bus.

Stopped going to Gregg's in 2020 due to hygiene concerns (touching food and taking money without gloves ect) and moreso in a pandemic.
Today I was so hungry and they were the closest so I decided to give it another go once I went in and the previous staff was not on shift.
I have to say I was extremely impressed today...no waiting in que for 15 minutes as per usual. Efficient service , polite staff (none of staff who I felt was unclean were present) and transparent. He said the wait for omelette was 2 mins and it came out in literally that.
The bonus was the server's hygiene; I did not need to ask him to put on gloves,he put them on once finished cashing in my order...he dealt with another customer had to cash again, took off his gloves and put new ones off when finished!! What more can I ask for! This visit gave me renewed faith in Greggs!

We waited a while so were offered a complimentary steak bake in recompense. Very good service.

Great place to stop by for a quick bite especially on Sundays when many places open later. They have kid friendly warm sandwiches including warm ham & cheese toasties. They also have a deal where you can get any sweet treat and a regular hot drink for 2 pounds.

Brilliant service from Liam in there, always service with a smile and a bit of banter too. Still tries charging me £11 for a sausage roll, because it's hot ;-) seriously tho since he's been there, it has changed. Keep up the good work, and no doubt I'll see you again this week.
