Good food, nice service staff and cool atmosphere. However the food portion size was a lot smaller than expected considering the high prices. We were lucky to be able to get a table without a reservation, however, many others that came after us didn’t. Would definitely recommend booking. Overall a nice experience.

This is a popular place. We arrived before 5:30pm and there were already people waiting, make sure to book a table ahead. we find the food is flavorful, tasty for us. The downside is it's a bit pricey and the food came in small portion, probably 1/2 of the size of normal dishes each. Few pieces of seafood inside the TomYam hotpot. The tarot ice cream melted our soul. Can’t forget about it. Services are good. It’s a good place for people who like spicy and flavorful food. But they sure can do better to put reasonable portions.

Came here with a friend for her belated birthday lunch on a Saturday having made a booking prior and good that we did because it was extremely packed at 1pm. We both went for Cha Yen (Thai iced team with condensed milk) to start and then for food we ordered minced beef with holy basil, naem fried rice, tom yum mama noodles with seafood and crispy pork, as well as the stir fry morning glory with soy sauce. We both really enjoyed the minced beef, extremely savoury with a nice kick to it and went so well with naem fried rice, a perfect pairing. Tom yum noodles were good but I wish the tom yum soup was stronger. The crispy pork was very crispy indeed and tender, soaked in all the tom yum soup which tasted amazing. The morning glory was the least impressive of the 4 dishes, very average and the sauce wasn't outstanding. Cha Yen was also too mild for me personally, the condensed milk completely overpowered the tea taste so it tasted more like sweet milk to me. Service was good, really liked the interior design that resembled a lot of Thai food markets. Although I did think the food was too pricey for what it's worth (£87 for 2 people). I know there are so many places in London that are half the price of what this place charges and are just as authentic. So it's more like a hype that I wanted to experience just to say that I have ticked it off the box.

Visited with a Thai foodie, and she said that out of the three Thai restaurants we tried in London, this was the most 'authentic'. Rich Northern style curry, spicy minced beef and weapons grade some tam. The photos, Hatari wall fans, pool table and calendars all add to the Thai vibe. Recommended (by a Thai foodie).

A mate had heard about this place from a local restaurant Michelin star/chef recommendation…. So we thought we would give it a go. Overall, the food was fantastic can’t fault, The taste and flavours. We were sat upstairs in the bar area which was quite busy although downstairs the tables looked very close together, so we were happy to be upstairs…. The service was a bit haphazard, perhaps because it was relatively busy this Thursday evening mid October… The massive negative however, was the inflated London prices £157, for the 2 of us…. 1/2 the price in Thailand 🇹🇭…. Worth the visit but overpriced

A really cool themed Thai restaurant!! The inside of the restaurant was decorated in a very interesting way, it gave the place a great atmosphere and a relaxing feeling. The service was good nothing to complain about. We loved the cool names and dishes on both the drinks and food menu. The only thing I would definitely say to watch out for is the spicy warnings on the menu, they are incredibly hot and not for the faint hearted.

Excellent food. Great atmosphere and easy to find. Speedboat bar has a unique take on Thai food. If you like authentic Thai cuisine then speedboat may not be the best place but if you don’t mind a twist on Thai food then you must try speedboat bar! The have pool tables and a bar upstairs. Yes it is a little cramped inside but it’s all worth it for the food! I had the Tom Yum soup which was good but the best was the purple aubergine starters that blew our minds! The morning glory was good too so was the drunken noodles. Recommend this place. Just one thing is the service can be a little haphazardly but that’s ok. It’s a new spot and they will only get better and better. Thank you!

Top notch! The food was full of flavour and authentic. The Tom yum was a massive portion, easily shareable and full of seafood and pork. They say to order some share plates and between three of us we got 6 + rice and we’re pleasantly full.

Unhesitatingly a great place with great food and impeccable service - chill, welcoming and more accommodating than strictly necessary. If this place brings authentic Thai cuisine to the UK, it also transports the visitor on every level. It is said some mourn the old interior, however when a replacement of this quality comes along, all may be forgiven. I only wish we had brought larger stomachs to try even more food and drinks. So many delicious flavours and certainly nothing easily produced at home. This isn't a traffic light curry place :) Apparently many of the fresh herby and spectacular flavours are made possible through a UK-based grower who can supply ingredients that would not survive the journey. This makes every bite a thorough delight and a joy to be here. If the goal was to bring an authentic Thai dining experience to London, then hat off!! What a find!

Make sure you book in advance as seating is limited and it’s hard to get a spot! We ordered a couple of dishes to share between 3 of us as we wanted to try a lot. The portions are quite small, I’d say snack/bar size. We ordered side bowls of rice as well since eating the dishes alone would not fill you up. All the dishes were very tasty and I enjoyed the food here! The downside is since the portions are small, you’ll probably leave feeling not full. I’d recommend coming her for a snack/ light meal as the dishes are quite delicious if you’re craving for good Thai street food style.
