Outstanding coffee, friendly atmosphere. I recommend the batch brew (filter) so you can taste a different bean each time. I've had several bags of their beans to brew at home and all were delicious and interesting, although "special treat" price.

Love love love this for my morning coffee. Highlight of my day. Cortado is my fave. Go and support a great place that sometimes gets missed for some of the other boujie coffee shops nearby.

The best thing about Old Spike is Andrés 😊 Andrés es lo mejor! Always a kind word, genuine conversation and the best coffee He is the reason this became my local coffee shop and every time I go in you can feel how he has made a welcoming space. It feels like everyone in Peckham knows him. He has built a community and he is sunshine!

Old Spike is definitely the best coffee in Peckham, the Benedict Blend is perfect with milk. Andres there is always a welcoming face and seems to know everyone in Peckham, as well as always serving perfectly extracted shots. I highly recommend asking if they have any filter brews going, as the natural and honey processed roasts are beautiful. It is always such a joy to grab a coffee and a chat with Andres, and being able to walk straight out onto the sunny Peckham Rye makes it a fantastic location.

Andreas is one of the brightest rays of sunshine you’ve ever met. I pop in now and then and he always is just so full of joy and happiness and I always leave feeling optimistic. The coffee is also delicious so put the two together and it’s a phenomenal start to the morning.

Best coffee in south east! Will go very far out of my way to come here. Also Andres is the best barista in the whole world <3 and is always so welcoming and lovely. This man deserves a pay rise. xxxx

Such a great place. Lovely vibe, great coffee and the social mission is amazing too. We are regulars here but today we got particularly amazing service from Andres - who took great care of us at 4.59 on a day closing at 5. Hope to see him again tomorrow!

Nice house Brazilian coffee blend and nice selection of buns including the almond bun - although the almond flavour was quite subtle. Brilliant social initiative, giving a way a large chunk of its profits to homeless charities and offering free training to the homeless

Andres is a great lad! So friendly and kind, we had a blast on our short visit that lasted a while actually because we had such a great time. Thank you! Btw they have OATly as oat milk :) best wishes from Prague and “Czechia” 😅😁. Dom and Kate

A small but welcoming coffee shop; it's more of a to-go than sit in but there are a few stalls on the side if you do fancy sitting in. The barista was friendly and accommodating with my request. I got a mocha with oat milk, it wasn't burnt and tasted nice.
