An absolute classic if you want a great pie and mash. Never had a better one in my time. Really recommend if you stop by in wanstead. The eels were quality don't take a miss best food I have ever tasted in my life have a cheeky pint with that to go down with it

I used to go Pie and mash with me old man in Ilford at Robins, until I stopped eating meat. But now that they sell vegan pies, I've been going again and it's one of my favourite meals. I usually get 2 and 2 with chilli vinegar. The staff are friendly and the foods nice.

Lovely food but a strange experience. A few bad looks and not as welcoming as the other customers….thought it was 2025 not 1970 :(

Super fast, classic east London pie shop. Open for the last 80 years!
Everything was delicious. I like the greenhouse room with vinegar bottles on every table. Poached salmon and vegan pies on the menu, something for everyone!

Excellent pie and mash with liquor together with sticky toffee pudding and custard washed down with an orange drink. All for £8. You can't go wrong !!
