Very tasty dishes at a very reasonable price. It’s not health food so don’t expect that if you are coming for chinese. The Pho is a good option though.
I got the 3 combo plate + green tea slush for under $15. I highly recommend the slush!!

China Star Express is located on Palo Verde St and Atherton at the base of CSULB. A nice Menu with great Service !

I’ve gone here for years and always enjoyed their food, but today ruined that for me. I ordered food with my family & My aunt was half way through eating when her eyes got so huge and screamed “there’s glass in my food!” … the glass was the size of a pea, sharp too! I’m so glad she caught that because it would’ve definitely done damage to her moth or worse to her body! I’m not sure how that glass got in there but just a warning to all!! I tried calling the place and they never picked up. I’ll never be going here again. Be careful.

My favorite Chinese takeout place in Long Beach or anyone I've ever been to actually. I'm giving it four stars only because the chow mein had some red hot spice to it and smaller noodles. They also changed their containers and they're smaller but they charge more or close to the same which is better than all the other fast food places are ripping us off for. Good fresh take out Chinese food and nice people that run it. Please change back to the old chow mein. Maybe their new owners I don't know but they should have kept it the same. That goes for the size of the containers also.

It’s quality food from China to Long Beach, I recommend this orange spicy 🌶 chicken. China star express, fast food best place to eat Chinese food in town. Extra large Fanta good Chinese food. Stop by and order the chow mein noodles, with variety of sides,. My favorite dipping the chicken wings into the hot sauce and the fortune cookie 🥠. I like the tables outside small comfortable seats.

Wings were good, however the Chinese food I ordered was not as tasty as when i first came here 2 years ago. Also was charged $14 for the $10.50 combo special
