The Sweet Spot Candy Shoppe & Dundee Chocolates

Neither I nor my partner really have much of a sweet tooth, but we still love making the Sweet Spot Candy Shoppe a regular stop on our Bardstown Road strolls all the same. There's always something unique to try! We've found "vintage" candies as well as Harry Potter treats that we can't get elsewhere, and the flavours of cotton candy are just wild. Most of all, we like the locally made truffles, chocolates, cordials, etc. in the display case. This is the place to go for sweets & treats in the Highlands.

I recently visited Louisville to see a friend, who had caramel covered marshmallows from this shop. They were so good, I asked her to take me to get some for myself. This is the BEST candy store I have ever been in. The birthday cake fudge is hands down the best I’ve ever eaten. I ended up buying a backpack full of treats to bring home. Everything I tried was amazing. They have ever kind of Candy you can imagine, some I haven’t seen since I was a child. If you are lucky enough to live nearby, you must go visit. I’m hoping to find that they ship, so I can always have those marshmallows on hand! Highly recommend!

This candy shop is a delight! I enjoy their chocolates as well as their many nostalgic candies. The service was friendly, welcoming, and fast. Be prepared to make difficult decisions between many scrumptious offerings. The location is also in the heart of the neighborhood and surrounded by a variety of other small businesses.
