Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We ordered three desserts to go, as a treat while traveling. The two ‘strawberry shortcakes were crammed into one box, not separately. Maybe 20, dry, cut up quartered strawberries….pretty sad. The peach cobbler was a soupy mess, with a few peaches. It was around 9:00 pm. Caution here…check you ‘togo’ desserts before you go on your way. Not the Cracker Barrel experience we are used to having. Two stars because the ice cream was packaged separately for the ‘cobbler.’

First time at this location Riverside and I didn't like the food. It looked good but it wasn't. The pancakes my friend got she loved them. The gravy for the biscuits were bland no flavor. The eggs wasn't good at all I don't know if they were powdered or what. The bacon was overcooked and the grits wasn't cooked all the way. I was very disappointed 😞 I won't be back.

We stopped for a late lunch so not crowded. We did have a slight wait to be seated, as like everywhere else, they are short staffed and were busy assisting other customers. Our server Quan was excellent...so pleasant and friendly you almost felt like you were a guest at her home. Our orders were delicious and served quickly. Nicole (cashier) was also very nice and professional, doing a great job of promoting products in the gift area, and inquiring about our dining experience. I also noticed she took time to assist a guest by showing them a variety of options in their search for a gift. Thank you ladies for making our visit enjoyable and pleasant (and to the kitchen staff for the yummy food)! In a job field that is often over worked and under appreciated, you two are shining stars!

I'm not really a fan of Cracker Barrel, never have been, but my father in law loves it, so we went here for Father's Day this evening. The only reason they're getting 2 stars is because we had a party of 15 and our server was really good. However, the food reminded me of why I never eat here. My daughter got a kids' grilled cheese and it was burnt, so she didn't care for it. My wife got a chicken tender meal and they were probably the worst tenders I've ever had. They were old, dry, barely warm, and hard to chew; just really bad. I had some loaded cheesy tater tots because I didn't really care for anything else and they were actually decent, but nothing to write home about.

This was the absolute the worst Cracker Barrel I went to. I travel a lot and been to so many Cracker Barrel.. I wait over an hour to be seated. I waited 30mins or probably more for my pancakes. I received my food and had to wait again for my peaches on the side and syrup. I taught to myself with this wait time the food is going to be great. All I can tell you look at the picture below and it speaks for itself. The pancake was not cook. I was given pancake batter to eat at Cracker Barrel a restaurant that specializes in breakfast. I don't understand!
