Such a great Madison bar. This is a Wisconsin staple as far as I'm concerned. There is tons of sports memorabilia all over the place and it's a pretty large establishment. They also have some fun games including pinball and sports related games. They have private rooms for parties really good food at the grill. Great food, the service was fast and friendly, if you're in the area I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat or a drink !!! They have a bunch of bar games as well.. Pinball machines, cornhole, pull tabs, etc.. And a ton of sports memorabilia... They also have a big event space attached where they hold everything from basketball to cornhole tournaments on Mondays... We had the 4 cheese grilled cheese and the Wisconsin burger.. Both were amazing, the burger seasoning was awesome, I'm not a huge burger guy but the burger was cooked perfectly and was soooooooooo good !!!!!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. My boyfriend and I went to check out Pooleys, before we had 20-30 people coming the next week, and will definitely NOT be back. We ordered 1 drink each and 1 shot each and a burger and the burger had NO bbq on it and was Luke warm, then when we tried to get our check the bartender completely ignored us and helped 3 other people until we finally stood up and had to get in front of them and when we asked why we were being ignored he said some bogus excuse of not being able to see us AT THE BAR. We paid and called when we left to talk to the manager and were told we were too intoxicated and they wanted us to leave, which was never stated to us, and told they didn't want to talk to us and were hung up on 2 times. DO NOT GO HERE

The food is good, the atmosphere is great and the service is amazing. This place is not lacking in entertainment. Pool tables, dart boards, volleyball courts, and plenty of TVs if you are looking for a place to watch your favorite sports team. If you are just looking for a place to grab a quick bite, i would recommend stopping in for a burger. The staff are friendly, attentive and always good for a chat.

My service was amazing! The way the owner interacts with staff & customers is nothing short of great management & respect. The food was well made with sizeable proportions and came out hot. The venue has something for everyone including outside seating & live music.Please come and check out this place. Hi-five to the staff who are doing a great job working through this pandemic staff shortage and supporting each other to provide you the customer great service! Thanks! Brina
