The Pipers Inn

Absolutely fantastic pub, best pub food I’ve had in a very long time and an amazing surprise! We usually stay at the hotel next door every single year for the past five years and have never tried this place until tonight, we are so disappointed we didn’t come here before! Thanks guys and we will see you again before we leave👍🏼

It’s more like 4 1/2 stars. Family of 4 with 3 adults and one teen. Place was clean, staff was friendly and competent. Atmosphere was inviting. I had the Belhaven pie very good, no complaints. Damn good pie. Wife had fish and chips. She preferred snapper but had cod and oily. It tasted good to me but it was her comment. Eldest son had bangers and mash. Great for the cost. Youngest son had a burger. He said it was delicious and he’d have a double if it was offered. I had a Guinness (prepared properly) and eldest had a Carlton. Tasty and cold both. Eldest son and I will be coming again for Friday.

Staff and locals are unfriendly. Don't bother going unless your going to become a local as well and drink there everyday of the week. Be prepared though to put up with rude locals until your finally accepted into the purple circle. Don't upset any of the locals or the police will be called to have you removed. Upsetting the locals is as simple as them overhearing a private conversation and not agreeing with what you are talking about with friends
