Sea Salt Society

Made our way to Sea Salt Society after a quick search for gluten free options in Manly. Staff are very welcoming. Food was awesome and loved they had my favorite cider from Colonial brewing Co. Only reason I took a star off was I had a explain ceoliac disease to the waiter. Once I went through the details with her I satisfied it was safe to eat. Would be good to know what ceoliac safe options are on the menu without having to ask all the usual questions. Otherwise a great experience and will probably be back weekend we hit up Manly again. Cheers guys!

Great cozy restaurant with a relaxed vibe. I was traveling for work and stopped in on a Friday night. Loved that the indoor seating opened to the street. Great to sit and watch the rain. The caprese salad was served with sour apple and heirloom tomatoes. The mushroom burger was held by a charcoal bun and a chunky tomato relish. At first glance it looked odd but it was delicious. I paired dinner with a reasonably priced pinot. I enjoyed the quick friendly service and the sustainable options on the menu.

Nice spot off the main Corso, staff seem friendly but a little unsure of what to do at times. I had the slow cooked pork belly burger, what I thought I'd get was something similar to a pulled pork burger but it's just a slice of deep-fried pork belly in a pretty bland slaw and banana ketchup, was kind of disappointed.
