Loco Willy's

I’ve lived in Marietta my whole life. Seen a lot of places open and close down not long after opening, especially in these little shopping strips off Whitlock— but not this place! I finally just went in today with my husband and we were NOT disappointed! At first glance it seems like a local dive (license plates on the wall, snarky bar signs, etc), so I was prepared for generic “bar food” and the like. But nope! The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, and the fish tacos were the best I’ve EVER had. Husband had the Loco wrap and said it was wonderful as well. There was one server running the show for the whole place so he was stretched a little thin but he was very sweet and thanked us for our patience. Can’t believe it took me like 10+ years to finally try this place, but we will be going back!

Ahhh yes, the local watering hole. It's definitely a locals hangout. It was clear by those bellied up to the bar that this was their favorite place to be on a Sunday night. This is a "bar food" kinda joint. I had wings (solid choice) better half had a chicken sandwich (didn't love it) and appetizers ordered for the table. (Large"ish" party) Our server had a hard time keeping up with our group but honestly - we had kids - and this isn't really a place for kids. Do they have a kids menu? Sure. But do they really want you to bring them? Nah - not really. Neither do the several grown folk way to drunk on a Sunday afternoon at the bar. So - if you're looking to throw back a few + a few more and you plan on eating while you do it -- sure - this place will do. If you're looking for dinner for the family - go somewhere else.

(2 stars ONLY because the service was great) Never again. Initially, I decided we simply wouldn't revisit after watered down drinks and subpar tex-mex. Now, I must leave a review simply because, and esp in this day and age (COVID-19, fair labor, unemployment) paying staff properly is of the utmost importance. Party of two stopped off for grub noting an outdoor eating area. When paying the bill, it averaged to about $16 bucks. I chose to tip $5 even to our wonderful server who was courteous, hospitable, and upbeat. I received a notice from my bank that this establishment did take the tip, but they only gave our lovely server $1.67. Such a disappointment, a real let down. As someone who worked in the restaurant and service industry, every buck, even $5, counts. Knowing someone was cheated out of rightful tips, when the base wage for earnings is set terribly low AND ppl are fighting to keep jobs esp in a pandemic, this just can't go without being shared. To the server that didn't receive their due, I'm sorry that you didn't receive your full pay and you've been had. We will never visit here again.

This is a great place. Great atmosphere and the servers and bartenders are very personable. I have been coming here for months now and never had a problem with being ignored or not been served in a timely manner. Great staff and the Willenburger is the best burger I have had in a very long time. Wings and chicken tenders are also great. Get them tossed in hot and lemon pepper... You can’t beat the fresh cut fries either. Billy, Christian and Ashley are awesome!!! Anyone that thinks any different have no idea!!!

This place has a great price point for their appetizers and main dishes. Their wings and burgers are outstanding. The burgers are meaty and the chicken wings are fat. Their Buffalo shrimp are great and then you can wash it all down with local drafts from brewers like Dry County in Kennesaw, and other Georgia places. Stop by and see for yourself.

Personally, I absolutely love this place. I also absolutely hate sports and having them on 47 TVs on max volume sucks. However, I still love this place!! The food is really good. Wings (with great sauce selections), burgers, chips/salsa, salads...it may just be bar food but it's really decent. The staff moves quickly and it's very kid friendly! It's a really great option outside of the food in the overcrowded Marietta Square!!
