Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe

Ok so I’m alone for dinner. I need something quick but healthy and good. Why not try something new so Tazikis it is. Great decision. The young guy helping me with the menu and taking my order strongly suggested the salmon. With a Greek salad and the potatoes. I am a little salmon shy of I’m honest but he was very animated and authentic so I trusted his suggestion. The hummus and two types of pita came first. Loved the baked and the just fresh pita. Gotta admit probably the best hummus I’ve ever had. Awesome flavor. Great texture and really good. With their homemade pita it was perfect. The freshly brewed ice tea was on point! Sweet tea just sweet enough. Good flavor. Really refreshing. The salmon came out like a picture of the perfect salmon meal. Hot and well spiced toasted red potatoes. Greek salad. Perfectly cooked and delicious especially with the fresh lemon slice squeezed on it. A perfect bite of salmon has red onion and feta with olive and a crushed baked pita chip on top. Definitely suggest breaking up the salmon and eating it with the salad. The vibrant dressing makes it sing in your mouth. The potato was my only minor regret. They were good but I think the lemon rice would have made the salmon salad taste even better. I’ll try it that way next time I’m here. If you’re in Mason Ohio. Delicious food ,moderate pricing for the type of restaurant really enjoyed . Food is very clean and straightforward.I believe the tzatziki is made in house really fresh ! I was given some tzatziki to try on the house . The build your own feast with the salmon protein option is $16.49 which is the most expensive but well worth it . A lot of different options: Falafel,Lamb ,Beef ,Chicken and Veggies . If you happen to be close by one give it a try !

My husband and I were staying in the area for a few days, and we were looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant. My husband ordered the vegetarian gyro. I ordered the Greek salad and added the spicy hirassa chicken to it. The restaurant was clean. There was plenty of seating available despite the fact we were there at noon. The food was DELICIOUS! My salad was huge. This was our first time at a Taziki's, so we had to navigate on how to order and what to do. The staff was friendly and directed us. Added note for 9/13/2023 - my husband and I came back here for lunch (we were in the area getting the vehicle serviced for an oil change about 5 min down the road). On this visit, I chose to have the grilled lamb gyro, and my husband had the Mediterranean salad with grilled lamb. We arrived just around noon. Staff was again friendly, the restaurant was again clean, it wasn't busy when we first arrived but got busier as we were about to leave. We will continue to come back as to try other menu items.
