We've driven by Dempsey's number times on our way home. Yesterday morning, we decided to stop in and give it a try.
It's a cute little diner just off of Salem St (somewhat across from Target). You seat yourself with a choice between booths and smaller tables.
The staff is incredibly nice & helpful. All of the waitstaff had masks on (which matters in this day and age).
They have a good sized menu, their muffins are delicious (we love the cranberry orange nut). Their portion sizes are huge.
I ordered 2 pancakes, one scrambled egg, toast and home fries and had trouble finishing it, because it the pancakes were the size of the plate, light & fluffy, organic maple syrup upon request
My wife ordered a broccoli & cheese omelet and was able to finish half before tapping out. Everything was absolutely delicious & yes we took the leftovers.
I ordered a large chocolate milk. You have never seen a large chocolate milk, like Dempsey's large chocolate milk. I have never had that much chocolate milk in one sitting before & I'm 40. You definitely get your money's worth
Dempsey's seems like a place that you could very easily become a regular at. We will definitely go back & I would recommend it to anyone.

Great breakfast items and lovely professional staff. Ordered a breakfast burrito and it was really good with salsa. The home potatoes were pretty good too but I didn’t eat them all as it was a lot of food. Also got a coffee and coffee cake muffin toasted. Both were excellent. Small diner with a friends and family run restaurant. I wasn’t so sure before eating, but very happy afterwards . I would highly recommend to give them a try if you like breakfast and lunch items!

Food was very good and the server was nice! I asked to have one French toast instead of regular toast and they charged me an additional $7 for 1 slice of French toast. My daughter had one pancake, the menu showed $6 but they charged $8. Besides over charged it was a good experience.

Cash only when we are in 2017. Omelette and eggs were over cooked to my liking. Ordered coffee on phone, was told they would make it when we pick up, no coffee when we got back to the hotel.
Overly clean looking place with very friendly people. They were open on July 4th! The portions were well sized for their price.

Everything was cooked perfect..very clean...staff helpful ..only problem was restroom was in odd place..you had to go thru grill area to enter..but again even restroom was extremely clean..

I just waited 45 minutes for my order and was told 15 minutes originally. They serviced all the door dash orders first and I ended up with a cold and soggy breakfast.
