Staff is more concerned about chit chatting, hiding in kitchen and playing on cellphones. Horrible service my last few visits. Last night 3/4/22 800pm was my last time I ever step foot in here. After being seated. It took approximately 8 minutes and me letting hostess know that no one has even taken our order. So she gets a waiters attention. He comes over takes our drink order .I put in for our drinks and crock of soups. Now 15 minutes goes by.. no sign of our waiter.i go back over to hostess stand, let them know we want to place our dinner order. She goes in the back near kitchen, gets waiter. I see him pop out immediately, they hide behind the wall. We clearly see them all back there chit chatting and playing on cellphones. We place our order, someone else brings our food to the table. Now a good time passes, I haven't seen waiter in atleast 15 minutes . Finally he pops his head out behind there hiding spot, notices us looking back there because our drinks are empty and we needed another round. He gets our drinks. Now 20 minutes pass were just getting frustrated Now and just want our check. My wife has to go to hostess stand and ask for our check. Off she goes in the back hiding spot.. he pops out Finally cellphone in hand as he puts it in his pocket heads our way Finally. Check the lowest reviews. I'm not the only one who has experienced the staff not caring.

I came with a group of friends and we sat right at the bar. I noticed one of your bartenders make a drink by scooping ice with a glass cup. Everyone in the service industry knows that's service 101... NEVER scoop ice in an ice bin using glass. I mentioned to that same bartender that I witnessed him do that and he said, "Yeah, it takes a lot of practice." And he seemed proud by it. I said, "Really? Okay." I asked for his name and how long he's been a bartender. Bobby, for 16 years. Didn't apologize, wasn't embarrassed. Common practice by this establishment? Makes me wonder what else isn't being practiced sanitary wise that I wasn't witnessed to.

I was really disappointed in the food. It's seems that their food isn't that great anymore. My father even complained about the burger and he never really has anything bad to say when we go out to eat. Service wasn't great either. I waited about 20 minutes to getting a refill on my empty drink. I saw my waitress on her cell phone, but she was too busy to wait on her only table.

Horrible!! My husband and I were looking for a quick bite around 10pm. The bartender, a blonde with mid back length hair and definitely older, was the worst bartender EVER! She didn't greet us; she openly ignored us, talked to everyone, and did everything except wait on us. I finally blurted out are WE INVISIBLE. I'd go into more detail , but it's making me more upset." We'll continue to go to PJs , which we did at 1st, but the kitchen was closed. The service from this lady was terrible. We finally got to order food at 10:22 after she pranced around and had 10 min conversations while the 5 people at the bar waited for her Grace to give them another beer.. Never again. The man who brought us our food was so nice, though. We had mussels in red, 3 Heinekens, otts fries, and a chicken finger platter. The food was great; the service was the worst I've ever had. Her tip reflected her poor service. I wanted to leave nothing!!

You wouldn't know Otts is a chain if you only visited the Medford location. The staff are personable and friendly, And the menu offers a nicer array of foods ranging from late lunch on trees up to full dinner meals. The bartenders are courteous and the mixologist I'm acquainted with actually know how to make some pretty good cocktails. There is live music typically on Friday and Saturday nights, Sometimes more frequently on the other weekdays during the summer.
