Cozy cafe, friendly staff with awesome service. Great summer menu. Tried their scrambled eggs with avocado last time, was absolutely delicious. Came back again and ordered acai bowl, very refreshing and great taste ever!

Though a reasonably busy (but not crazy) day, service was a bit random, a request for next available inside table was agreed then 3 mins later we watched people walk in and get inside tables ahead of us, leaving us in the cold...literally. Fixed upon intervention, but an unimaginative brekky was then delivered, not as ordered requiring re-requesting..and then more was delivered than requested.
Interestingly the (rationed) toast was toasted ok but tasted burnt..I think a characteristic of the bread used...it toasts unusually. My request for 2 pieces of toast initially resulted in delivery of one piece cut into 2 tiny pieces (see pic).
Public holiday surcharge of 15% added. A friend who was separately there that day was not happy finding out 2 coffees cost over $10. City prices aren't even that bad. He said he won't return.
I'm not sure if this is a new Cafe..if so no problems as perhaps they are getting into the rhythm. But if this is an established Cafe already, i think the experience should have been better...and the brekky too. Given the area the cafe is in, expectations will be higher than mediocre.
To the owners...drop by a cafe in east malvern called little chloes. Order anything (eg potato rosti, or yuzu eggs benedict current special) and look at the difference a little imagination makes in both taste and presentation.

Italian donut is very nice, combined with coffee for $5 only. We bought a couple of them and the girl there gave us 2 extras. won't say no for sure

I had absolutely the best cafe breakfast I've had in Melbourne in 6 months. Scrambled eggs, house made pork sausages, and mushrooms.
Update - I was so impressed last time, I went back, and it was a totally different story this time. The pork sausage was basically inedible, and the rest of the meal wasn't terrific. I guess consistency isn't a strong point.

Had a brunch in this cafe during my business trip in Melbourne. I ordered hotcakes (pancakes) and it is delicious. The server is nice and very responsive. Will definitely to comeback to try different menu

Decided to stop here for a bite the other week and ordered a big breakfast. Not only were the staff rude, it took over 30 minutes to receive my meal. The meal made me quite ill, I've only just begun to properly recover. Would not recommend visiting, with so many other cafes to visit in this wonderful city.

Staff were rude and tried to sit 3 people on a table that only fit one person.
Doughnut was dry and tasteless, bacon was charred and tasted like charcoal. Hollandaise sauce was like glug and like a custard. On the plus side coffee was good.

Amazing food with excellent produce, the staff are unfailingly lovely and accommodating. Love anything on that amazing GF bread and the brownies are sensational. Great coffee and vibe, would love to try it out for dinner!
