Beluga Cafe

I had a quick lunch. I was in and out in 30 mins. I had the lamb salad. It was coming with grilled veggies, boconcinni cheese on a bed of wild rocket. The lamb was perfectly cooked. The lamb and veggies had a nice char to it. The overall salad mix was delicious and well balanced. I had a glass of sparkling wine to compliment. I would go again and order the same. For the quality of the food and i am happy with the pricing.

I was blown away with the service I received last Tuesday the 19th of February at around 3pm, it was just embarrassing- I was getting some lunch for my 72 year old mother she was standing beside me choosing a sandwich from the fridge and when she asked the very arrogant man at the counter what was in one of the sandwiches he pointed at the side wall menu and told her to read it, the menu is absolutely full of meals, she said in a very nice way ‘we will be here all day if I have to go through all of that hahah’ he rolled his eyes and called us something under his breath. The girls that work there were absolutely beautiful when we were leaving I told them what had happened and they apologised on behalf of the cafe. I work in the area and have had coffee there many times but after this I will definitely not be going there again. The guy was not very tall small build and between 30-36 years of age blue / green eyes brown hair- I didn’t get his name, so if the owner reads this you really need to sort your staff our they are the face of your business!

This place is usually good but very disappointed with last few expereiences hence my review here. last week, ordered large coffee takeaway and person at the counter didnt understand and made me a small size. I had to argue when the coffee was ready. this morning, ordered crossient and large coffee again. asked crossient to be toasted - made me wait for 10 mins and just gave the crossient from the self. coffee, the person making coffee realised that I asked takeaway, the pours the coffee from normal cup to takeaway cup in front of me and when I asked about extra hot with after bit of an argument same coffee reheated and handed over to me. Is this the service standards we need to expect??? I have been your regular customer so far but would be thinking twice before coming next time. Specially for a coffee.
