It was an okay Chicken Rice. The rice a bit dry but the chicken is tender! The chicken taste pretty nice and the chicken soup tastes good as well! The sauce is nice! The chili is strong and garlicky. Place is small but the food is fine.

Best chicken rice and the rundang in Melbourne that I've tasted so far also the stuff are very friendly and very polite I would recommend it to everyone who love a good chicken rice or even the satay chicken skewers and the satay sauce is amazing just go and try it for your self

They make great Singapore street food even better. Their rice alone is worth a visit with a hint of fresh ginger

Great authentic Singaporean Hawker food at very generous prices. The staff were very friendly and the food came out promptly.
I was a huge fan of the Hainan Chicken Rice dish and the signature puffs.
My go to drop off if I'm in the area and need a quick feed!

This place has now changed management a few times and the quality of everything has gone down significantly. The curry puffs are still nice however most of the time only the signature puffs are available. The hainan chicken is no longer the best in Melbourne. It's actually quite average now. Gone are the days of silky smooth chicken meat. The rice taste like the flavoring that you can buy in jars. It's a shame because Mr Loy's was once so great.

Love the hainanese chicken rice and the puffs, so delicious. Feels like I'm back in Asia when I had it. The serving is quite generous. I feel this is the best hainanese chicken rice in Melbourne by far. Don't be fooled by its look from outside, you can almost miss it. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. Definitely definitely will go back and bring more friends here. This is one of Melbourne hidden gems. Highly recommend this place.

The curry puffs and black pepper chicken puffs are delicious and well worth the money (actually pretty cheap)! But they do tend to sell out early some days. The Roast Chicken Rice is great as well.
