The Pandan Kaya Coconut cake is soo creamy and fluffy, so yummy if you love pandan! Their specialty the durian cake is also nice if you love durian, has real pieces of durian in it, it’s not super pungent, just enough for you to taste the durian. They do a wide variety of cakes and if different sizes. My favourite is the pandan kaya, full of flavour! Yum!

DO NOT ORDER THE TARO CAKE!! So disappointed as I purchased several times from HS CAKES but this time for some reason the cake had no taste and was a struggle to finish. All my guests were also disappointed as this place has a good reputation. Had 15 guests and only a quarter of the cake was eaten because it was tasteless. Called the shop to tell them and they said they cannot do anything about it. Always in a rush, Money hungry and not customer focused at all. Save your money and shop elsewhere 👍

HS Cakes Springvale Visited on 18/1/2021 My friend is very generous, and twice he brought us a durian cake for afternoon tea. It was real durian puree sandwiched in a sponge cake. The cakes were soft and the real durian flavour is really great. I can't comment on the the service, becauseng my friend bought the cakes. He seems to be happy with it, because he has bought from this shop on several occasions without complaint. I was trying to to decipher the shop name in Chinese, but the words were rather unintelligible. After checking the pricing, I think the larger size cake is overpriced.
