Chain Of Fools

Thank you so much for bringing amazing memories back through the flavours and spices of this dish. This food literally brought me to tears. Which is mildly embarrassing but true. The poached pear ricotta hot cakes were the most delicious thing I've ever eaten. I asked to hug the chef. I'm seriously considering having this dish on my wedding menu it was incredible. Do yourself a favour and go to Chain of Fools. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing.

What drew us to this cafe is their motto: Sustainability and Indian cuisine. Of course, such high rating also adds up to the expectations. Understaffed on a busy day or were we just unfortunate that the quality and taste did not match up to the ratings here. Coffee and Chai came after we were almost done with the food...Which wasn't the problem though. Coffee was over extracted and tasted burnt, chai was jaw-breaking sweet. The burger we ordered had an over-done patty, yet decent among the two. The curry of the day was beef and the chewy meat was served in a very underwhelming tasted curry.....Wasn't even bland, something that we cannot even describe. The tamarind chutney served with the burger tasted stale....Our body couldn't take it too well. The only thing that was great about this place is hospitality.
