I have a hard time finding vegan Asian cuisine and I must say I am very happy that CombinAsian has moved into the area. The K-Town bowl was life and was bursting with flavor. It puts any Asian dish I’ve ever made to shame! The owners are also the most humble and polite people you will ever meet. This spot really deserves the #Bombdotcom stamp! Can’t wait to come back. If I could I would give you guys 10 stars.

CombinAsian is where it’s at! I tried this restaurant for the first time last week. Being a NON-vegan I was a little skeptical about whether or not vegan food would taste good and be as filling as my typical meaty meals. I first tried the Cilantro Lime Bowl. It was packed with fresh veggies and sautéed tofu and topped with a refreshing cilantro lime sauce. I was impressed with the balance of ingredients, the overall flavor, and the fact that I didn’t miss eating meat with my meal! I enjoyed my meal so much so that I decided to go back later that week. This time I tried the Kim Bap Pow Roll, which was also fresh, delicious, and filling. I ate it with a side of fried kimchi that added just the right amount of spice to my meal. The awesome food is accompanied by friendly owners and a relaxed atmosphere to eat.

Go ahead and show some support to this badass recently opened vegan place. The owners do everything here and the food tastes delicious. I discovered them through a lunch catering and went to the location after that. The owner is a really cool guy from Trinidad and his wife is Korean. Wish the best to this business and I'll be definitely coming back for more. :)

Where do I begin? A friend recommended this restaurant. I came in and met Ruth and Damian, the owners, who were absolutely pleasant. I am not normally a “vegan” person, so I let Ruth guide the way as I ordered a few bowls to bring home to the family. At our table of five, we all agreed that the food was DELICIOUS. Each and every item—Korean Fried “Chicken”, Chipotle Cashew, Creamy Combinasian—has its own distinct, bold flavor. I am adding this spot to my list of favorites.

Korean Fried Chicken!!!! Need I say more? I chanced upon this place this weekend, and couldn't believe it. I love asian cuisine, but it's hard to find places that don't put eggs or fish sauce in things. Also, having the option of seitan, etc. blows my mind. The owner is also extremely nice; he was working behind the counter, and even though they were just about to close, he let me order and even clean out his sides :) Thank you Combinasian!!!!

From reading the reviews, I was really looking forward to having a delicious vegan meal here but I had an awkward experience. I came on a Sunday around 2. There was only one table occupied with 3 people so that kinda' worried me. I selected the Kimbap Pow Roll and the guy behind the counter said that he would need to grab somebody from the back to make the roll. So I said, don't worry about it. Just make me bowl instead. He started prepping my bowl while reading off the menu. He scooped one ingredient then look at the menu again, then scooped another then back to the menu. I'm guessing that he was new or doesn't know how to make the items offered on the menu? It was awkward because I was just standing there quietly while he preps the food very slowly. I also asked for a glass of water but he said they only have bottled beverages for purchase. At least my bowl was decent so that saved the day. The Kimpab Pow Bowl was pretty tasty considering it was a meatless dish but I'm not sure if the "meatless" protein was supposed to be at room temperature? I'd probably give this place another shot but I think the presentation could be better as there is plenty of competition in Wywood with similar "make your bowl" concept. The bowls here cost about $12 average which is about the same price point as others. Next time, I will try their popular Korean Fried Chicken since that's what the reviewers are raving about.
