Tomahawk Steakhouse Acklam Hall

Sunday evening couple's date night. Really friendly & prompt attentive service. Food really tasty. Roast Chicken dinner with dish of fresh vegetables expertly prepared and cooked on the side. Everything was well cooked. Rump steak cooked to perfection and as requested. Plenty of food in the one course so we didn't have room for starter's or puds. Sat outside after dinner with the last of the summer sun going down, in the beautiful surroundings. They have great gardens our the front, and allow dogs on the terrace. We'll definitely be back.

Very beautiful location. It is probably the most historic steakhouse that I have ever been. The parking is huge and they have a beautiful terrace. The steaks were good but not cooked to the requested parameters. We ordered two sharing boards, and some of the steaks were even too raw, even overcooked and chewy. They need to pay a bit more attention. Overall, it was delicious. Good for a chain.

Had beef spring rolls for starters followed by 8oz rump steak, chunky chips n onion rings. The better half had garlic chilli prawns then 8oz rump with slaw and sweet potato wedges. Food was good unfortunately the wife was full so we didnt have desert😕 Was glad we had a voucher to help with the bill cos cheap it aint. Staff really pleasant and helpfull. Nice treat for us hopefully get another voucher for next birthday🤞

Fillet steak medium cooked to perfection, chips and peppercorn sauce always exceptional shared onion rings and hash browns between us so yum. Choc fudge cake for pud was so good was just a bit on the thin side needed a bit more thickness. But would highly recommend a trip this tomahawk is the most beautiful I have visited yet top service thanks guys
