Frontera Tacos And Tequila

My family and I had the best meal at Frontera in Middletown. The restaurant is very clean. The decor is so warm and inviting inside. The food is amazing. I could honestly say it’s the best Mexican Food I ever had in my life. I never had that feeling before. Cooked so fresh and flavored perfectly. Definitely will make the trip there each time in that area to try out their other selections. Looking forward to it. The staff is so friendly. Ana is the best. She was awesome. Really a gem of a place. Highly recommend.

The food was terrific. The decor and music make you feel as if you're on the Mexican Riviera. Our waiter was so friendly and was attentive but did not hover. My meal was enough to take home half for later. I had the flour chicken enchiladas and they were great! We started with drinks and the house chips.

Visit #1 I pass this restaurant all the time and have somehow never noticed it. We noticed it on the drive to a different restaurant tonight and decided to change plans and give it a try. I’m glad we did! We got the Wednesday night special- ultimate margaritas- and they were good and at a decent price. We also tried their molcajete. I’m newly obsessed with this dish and this is the third restaurant I’ve found that has it. It was good but not as flavorful as other restaurants I’ve had it in, unfortunately those restaurants were nowhere near Middletown, so I’ll definitely be back. Looking forward to trying other menu options, too. Visit #2 After trying the molcajete on trip one, I wanted to see what other menu options were like and went back tonight. We got taquitos, beef tacos, and el pastor tacos. It was all pretty flavorless and not the quality I was hoping for. After tonight’s meal, I unfortunately don’t think I need to make a third trip. Service is fast and friendly and drinks are very reasonably priced, if I do go back it’ll be for happy hour and not a meal.
