I always hate posting a subpar review, but I have been here twice and continue to be disappointed. General’s chicken is way too sweet, barely any spice to it. Had the wontons and its pure fried dough. Price I’m guessing is standard for Chinese food these days and the portions are good but i can’t finish it because it just doesn’t meet the taste expectation. Order was on time, which is a plus, but not terribly hot. Will be looking for another local alternative.

Love this place! Veggies are fresh, food has fantastic flavor, custom orders are welcome, the people who work here are so friendly. They get my highest recommendation!

Ordered General Tso combo and Boneless Spare rib combo. I'm fairly confident the chicken was freezer burned, there was a wierd chemical aftertaste after every bite. The sauce for the ribs were pretty tasty but the ribs themselves were chewy like jerky, it was pretty much like beef jerky in sauce. I cannot recommend this place, won't ever go back.

Best Sichuan in town! Have not had a bad meal. Place is immaculate. Staff is friendly and bright. My new favorite Middletown gem.

Was not happy with my general tso chicken. Everything was pretty good, but there was hardly any meat when you left get past the breading, and the meat that was there was hard. The crab meat sticks are imitation crab, very disappointing!

The best chinese takeout restaurante in CT. I been eating here for the past 15 years, moved out of Middletown and am still coming back. Food is excellent. Never greasy, never soggy, Hot&Sour soup is filled perfectly with vegetables. Triple Delight is filled always to the max. I only have the best things to say about Great Wall II. Anything I have ordered from here has always turned out delicious and satisfactory. Definitely give them a visit.
