Ching Tao Restaurant

I love the Salt Baked Shrimp & Hot Pepper! It's not a dish you find at most Chinese restaurants. There's no hot pepper in it, that I can tell, and it's served with sautéed onion and scallions. So good. Tonight I alsoordered the Roast Pork and Broccoli. Also a good dish, the broccoli was was fresh and not overcooked like a lot of places. Tried the scallion pancakes and liked them too. They're thin and crispy on the outside, soft inside, no taste of scallion at all but they taste good. As far as places go around here, this is one of the best for Chinese. Pleasant dining room for dining in.

Delivery took over an hour for a Saturday night but the entire order was correct. The food was delicious except one order of general chicken was so pink inside it could not be eaten. Not sure if it was the brine they had the chicken in or if it was not properly cooked. The fried wontons were mostly fried with little beef wonton. The chicken fingers and fried rice were excellent. Overall, would not be my first place to pick for Chinese.

I have only ordered takeout but the food is amazing!! My son loves the chicken noodle soup. I enjoy the chicken fingers. The batter is light and fluffy but not over fluffy that the chicken is lost inside. The duck sauce they serve is their own recipe and i have never had anything like it. It is amazing!! The chicken chow mein is fall river style with crunchy noodles, lots of chicken and tons of fresh celery and onions. We have tried other items and have not been disappointed but these are the three we order way to often!!
