Aquidneck Pizza Restaurant

The waitress was wonderful, had me laughing my head off when I asked her what the chalk drawing was about. She said the owner drew it, it was supposed to be Death holding Covid-19 in its hand. It was approaching a guy enjoying himself while tubing and drinking. If you think about it, it's hilarious. This guy is just sitting in his tube, floating, drinking, and along comes Death walking in the water up to his waist and approaches this guy, like "Hey, you there, having a good time? Well, not anymore!" I thought it was very, very funny. Anyway, she gave us a free beer when she figured out she had misunderstood our drink order. The menu lists two types of Sam Adams beers, but she insisted they only had one type. We didn't argue, but later on after she waited on another table who ordered the same thing, she realized what she had done and brought us the beer we'd wanted, explaining she'd had some brain fog or something. The vegetarian pizza was really, really good, but my pasta with oil and garlic was dry. Didn't have enough oil or garlic. But the garlic bread was very good, and the waitress even made sure to tell me it was made with oil and not butter, since I'm vegan and she had inquired ahead of time - good for her! You don't usually encounter such thoughtful and considerate waitstaff. We could have sat outside, but it was too windy for me, so we had a nice time watching the local news on the indoor tvs. All in all, a very nice time. I hope you get this great waitress when you're there, and get that tasty vegetarian pizza!
