Taliercios

Of all of the delis for which I got recommendations, Taliercio’s was arguably the most popular. And as soon as I walked in, it all made sense. It took me a good 5-10 minutes to soak in everything on the menu on top of the deli counter. A guy, who introduced himself as Mike, asked if I needed help (I said yes) and then asked if I saw the menus behind me as well, which I hadn’t. There are probably 100 sandwiches to choose from. With Mikes help, I landed on the Mikey A and the Nonna Murphy. Both sandwiches were delicious. And absolutely massive. The quality was legit, so the size of the sandwich is justified and not just big for the sake of being big. They are however huge and somewhat difficult to eat. I’d love to come back again for more sandwiches and fried raviolis, which I hear are insane! Overall, I like Taliercios quite a bit and fully understand why everyone loves this spot.

You honestly can’t go wrong. You get a massive delicious sub for a great price and a dozen fried raviolis, you have an all natural anti depressant that brings you back to life! Great staff too, a true staple to Middletown. Plus, they are huge hockey fans that makes the experience all the better, and this is coming from a Devil fan lol! Thank you!

Gotta say. This spot is top notch. We drove an hour and a half in the pouring rain just for their sandwiches. The fried ravioli and mac salad were ok. You honestly don’t even need them with the sizes of their sandwich. I was also surprised and excited to learn that my 2-3lb sandwich only cost $11. Best food I've ever had in my life. Just ate it and still craving it. Only got takeout and only their sandwiches. Once on a Sunday and the next on a Tuesday, both before noon. Both times they were crazy busy. Luckily I used the slice app and beat the lines. If you buy online, you can just walk straight to the register and let someone know you're there to pickup. Finally went here for lunch after wanting to go here for months. I ordered the fried ravioli, trust me get this, and the “Acquitted” sandwich. The fried ravioli was 🔥 filled with ricotta. The sandwich was phenomenal, something I never tasted before, crunchy, cheesy, spicy, sweet, explosion of flavor. The sandwich is made of: Ricotta Hot stuffed pepper shooters Chicken cutlets Prosciutto di Parma Hot Honey Locatelli cheese Black pepper. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like family. If you are there for the first time, let them know and they ll give u a warm welcome. A great spot that I ll def return to.

Heard of lot of good things about this place. They use semolina bread with sesame seeds so I knew I had to try. They have a lot of different options for sandwich’s but I opted to make my own. I got chicken cutlet fresh mozz sundried tomatoes Arugula long hots and onions. Oh my god it was perfect and better then I thought it would come out. The best long hots I have ever had. Very spicy not for the faint of heart. I also tried the fried ravioli. Which I was skeptical at first because it sounds gimmicky but wow was I surprised it was a perfectly fried umami pillow pocket. The outside salty and crispy the inside creamy and rich. Staff very friendly and no wait. Also the prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge. I will go again for lunch later this week.
