Nana's Kitchen

First, I am a huge fan of Nana’s. I am a frequent customer and have introduced this fine restaurant to many friends. The service is excellent and the music adds to the ambiance. Most of the time, the food is outstanding. However, last night I came with friends to enjoy a Saturday evening. I ordered the penne vodka which was tasteless. I was surprised. The other 3 guests ordered seafood entrees (tuna and cod). The portions were appetizer size, to be generous, leaving those that ordered seafood hungry. I realize times are difficult for restaurant owners but rather than compromise your standards and skimp on quality and portions, raise the entree to the prices you need. I hope last night was the exception to the rule.

William and the staff at Nana's Kitchen are awesome. I have had William and his staff cater two parties for me now and I amazed at their attention to detail. The rooms is always inviting and the food is just amazing. Thank you so much fornmaking my birthday so special for my guests and I. Love you guys. No matter if you are thinking of dinner or an event this is the place to go

Went here with friends for first time last night. Ordered the salmon, granted I like mine cooked through and ordered it that way as did a friend. The salmon was so overdone I couldn’t eat it, served with broccolini and fingerling potatoes, was tasteless absolutely no flavor at all. Considering the prices I will not be returning. Atmosphere nice, service was great but food not good.

I have been driving by this place on Rt 35 for years and always wanted to give it try. I live local and it felt it would be nice to have a place close by. Nana's is set back from the road at the end of a court yard, and now I am wondering why I waited so long. Everything ordered at our meal was cooked/prepared to perfection and delicious. From the bread rolls served fresh and hot, the burrata appetizer, the Grilled Veal Chop Special, to the tiramisu and espresso it was a meal worthy of the finest restaurants. This place is a keeper. It's BYOB so bring a bottle of your choice and have a great meal at Nana's Kitchen.

Had a great dinner at Nana’s. Place is nicely decorated inside and is very deceiving from the outside and is way bigger than it looks. Has another room with tables which I would assume you could have a party in. It’s BYOB which is always great. I ordered the mussels in the white sauce for appetizer and they were incredible. Kind of wish they brought more bread to dip. The menu says it came with ciabatta but we never received it. I had the veal chop special which was very tender and cooked to perfection while my wife ordered the braised short rib over Pappadelle pasta. Both were delicious. I contemplated taking off 1 star because our server was a little inattentive. But it was minor. It took like over 10 minutes for him to even acknowledge us while we sat down and just felt like we were kind of put on the back burner. It didn’t ruin our meal by any means and he was friendly and even gave us gelato on the house which was very nice. The hostess greeted us right away and was very nice. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a quality Italian dinner at moderate prices. Would like to go back in warmer weather and sit outside as it looks like they have a nice set up out there.

This was my first time at Nana's Kitchen, and I absolutely loved it!! We were welcomed with homemade bread. The food was delicious and great quality. They have gluten free options and are able to customize items!! The decor is beautiful. The staff is very friendly!! Highly recommend checking this new restaurant out!!!

Well NANA’s just a name no grandma’s are in kitchen first time here ordered chicken parmigiana linguine and fra diavlo shrimp linguine both dishes overcooked and bland and the arugula salad. Tomato, mozzarella had a plastic shrink wrap piece courtesy of kitchen, meatballs and tomato’s mozzarella figured Italian restaurant limited menu basic stuff yes I almost forgot this is jersey ohh service was great only 2 other tables were occupied

It used to be a great food place. The owner is a sweet heart. It’s really sad. The chicken was thick, not Italian style. I didn’t finish my chicken parmigiana, neither did my date. The host greeted me like she saw me before with another date. So my date was confused , thinking I bring a lot of women here. The waiter didn’t make it easy, I felt bothered after repeating myself that we’re fine, I just wanted to talk to my date. It’s not the worse place at all. It’s a nice place. And design. But when your paying high prices, you expect gourmet. I’m sorry it’s just not, despite I love the owner.
