Alfred's Victorian Restaurant

I'm thinking 2 stars is a gift. Zero stars for the food Three stars for a really cool piece of real estate. The menu is extremely uninspired. Despite the lack of challenging selections that are on the menu, the "chef" can't execute the rudimentary dishes anywhere near their potential. Wine list doesn't exist. Sadly the entire facility is disheveled and the entire staff has no interest in customer experience. Fair warning...you will leave here feeling like a fool for funding such garbage.

We have been enjoying Alfred's Vitorian since 1985 when my Wife and I shared our 1st Wedding Anniversary with them. The old brownstone has a charm and uniqueness unlike any other. The food is always top notch. The service was excellent. I had flowers delivered there for my Beautiful Wife and everything was just right when we arrived. Couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience.

Alfred’s Victorian is one of my favorite places to go to. Robin and her delightful staff are just a joy to spend time with. The food created at Alfred’s is simply the very best that you will find in our area. I tell everyone that Alfred’s does not know how to make average food! If it comes out of their kitchen, it is top notch. And the pasta is simply heavenly! We have been celebrating our special events at Alfred’s for many years and I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. ❤️🎊🎂❤️👍

Wonderful atmosphere, exceptional staff. I made a reservation strictly based off of reviews. We were in town just for one evening. We could not have been more pleased! From the woman I assume was the owner and the lovely ladies working the dining room all could not have been nicer. So informative about the beautiful old Victorian. The food was outstanding!

My husband and I started dating 21 years ago in this restaurant! It is such an experience! Each room is unique and offers a beautiful view of the life enjoyed in this home many years ago. My husband, two daughters, and myself enjoyed dishes made tableside such as Steak Diane. The Chesapeake Fillets were delicious! The Alfredino pasta is mind blowing!! My favorite! Although I have enjoyed the restaurant for many years, we were blessed to have a server who has worked in the restaurant for 35 years!! Please visit this exceptional establishment and enjoy these pleasures for yourself!!

My friends and i experienced the Tea Parlor at Alfreds on Saturday. Made a reservation. Was greeted and set to our table. Within minutes, was offered tea and water--and any beverage ( a tea parlor with adult beverages!). The wait staff was attentive, explaining the various teas and sweets and savories. Pots refilled. It was a very relaxing and delicious expreience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
