Stopped in here for lunch after a nearby endodontist appointment. I ordered the one meat plate with brisket. You have the option of your brisket being lean or “moist”. I went with the moist and it was SO tender and delicious! It was so flavorful and did not need sauce, but I am a sauce lover so gave it a try and it was also wonderful.I chose green beans for my side and they were quite tasty. I love how a drink is included with the plate!! I also decided I “needed” some cobbler. Peach was on the menu for the day. Their cobbler is the cake type and did not disappoint. If you are a barbecue fan, I definitely recommend this place. I will come back next week for a good meal before my root canal!

Very clean. The food- decent but nothing to write home about. We had a brisket sandwich, a chicken sandwich and some type of loaded fries. While the chicken sandwich was enormous it was also just as bland . Not grilled how we expected it to be (in their defense it wasn’t advertised as grilled). I believe it was poached. Because I know of other local BBQ joint with far superior tastes I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Upon arriving at The Half Acre I Loved the way they Redid the place! Very classy and plenty of Parking! We got our order In got a little bit of everything, beef ribs, chicken(it was boneless), sausage, Stuffed Ground Beef Egg Rolls With Cheese and Chilis and of course The Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños!! Well the Order Did Take a Little Long To get Out and there did seem to be some confusion at the window were you pick up your order! Never the less the lady's were very friendly and we got our order!! Seating was packed but luckily they had some nice tables outside! Brisket had a nice bark, good cook on it, nice smoke, chicken was good too even though I was looking forward to a little bone🐔🦴, lol. Sausage was excellent, very well made, Green Chili Mac n cheese was Banging, the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapeños were a little on the heavy smoke side but not overdone and ever so delishous with the touch of Glaze they added!! And my FAVORITE DISH has to be those Stuffed Hatch Chili. GROUND BEEF Egg Rolls (**Definitely Get The Eggrolls!!**)😉😍😍😋😋!! They Were Super Fat In Size and Just So Damn Delicious!! Absolutely delicious! I got the BBQ sampler, with brisket, ribs, jalapeño sausage and chicken. All the meat was ridiculously juicy, tasty and tender! Their BBQ sauce was outstanding as well, even though you really don't need to add any to the meat. I also got the corn and potato salad, and this too was also delicious! I wish I took a photo, but I was too eager to dig in. Would 100% recommend anyone who is a fan of BBQ to go check it out!

Ordered two meat plate. Moist brisket and chicken breast. Female who took order couldn’t tell me what kind of pork ribs they had. I asked if they were baby backs and she said she didn’t know. Brisket was good. Chicken was a bit dry. Potato salad was good. Place is plain. Kitchen and cashiers are in a box. No decor. The place is not inviting but food is decent. Drinks are included in price of foods. Lacking Texas BBQ joint vibe.
