Jim 'n Nick's

The service and food at Jim n Nick's have worsened over the years but today was horrible. If I could, I would rate my visit a zero. I can't believe the burnt meat and nasty potato salad I received today came from a restaurant that I once loved so much. The owner needs to pay an anonymous visit to the location. The wait was at least 25 to 30 minutes in the Drive-Thru. It took me 20 minutes holding on phone to actually get someone to pick up to share my concern about the food. I was told that the manager was too busy to answer the phone.

I went to the dri-thru to order 2lb of barbecue ribs with two sides. I choose a side of potatoe salad and baked beans. I also ordered a slice of lemon box pie and a large sweet tea. I choose the Habanera and regular Jommie Nick's Barbecue Sauce. The driv thru was crowded but the line moved fast as it could. Customer Service was great and everything was in the bag neatly. Food is always good especially the potatoe salad and ribs.

The ribs and sides were very good and the establishment looked very nice,clean and pleasant. Our server was nice and pleasant but not attentive enough to her tables. We had to ask her for too many things that would have made our visit more enjoyable. I'll just attribute it to her being new. The other issue of concern was the brisket soup. The flavor was alright but the texture was way off. The brisket itself was nothing but the ends of fat. Not a single piece of center cut meat. I simply didn't eat it because it wasn't what I expected. I've had brisket soup before and this didn't even come close to what I'm used to. I'm not totally dissatisfied, so I'm willing to give this establishment another visit.

My daughter and I ate at Jim ‘N Nicks yesterday. We both ordered the loaded potato with chicken. She ordered tea and I ordered water no lemon. We both got tea but waitress changed mine to water. When our bill came we were both charged for tea. The waitress changed this for us. But both the potatoes were horrible. Our chicken was mostly skin and there was very little chicken that we could eat. She kept pulling skin off and had a huge pile. I got carry out. When I tried eating my chicken it was was horrible - not much chicken but lots of skin. Our bill was over $30 and we couldn’t even eat it. I’ll never order their potato again. Not even sure I’ll go there again. We have had their salad before and it was delicious.

Couldn't wait till the 4th for some BBQ...I love their bbq sauce..its sweet with a kick..they need to teach cracker barrel how to make mac and cheese and their sweet cheddar biscuits..not bad for 14.99..four bones with MEAT..two side (I made my own fries lol and added jalapenos) I ordered double mac but its so good I had to share one..the kids enjoy it..it was filling and set me right for the rest of the day..I recommend this restaurant..
