Ginza Japanese & Korean Cuisine

Ginza is an average experience. Ordered sashimi as an appetizer and sushi as an entree. I also snagged a chicken and steak habachi. Compared to other places I've been at, it was okay, but price for value isn't here. It's expensive for average Japanese/Korean food. For the price, I'd rather pass and just go right to a Japanese steak house so I at least get some entertainment. I'm not mad about the experience, but I wouldn't go back.

My family and I ate here for my Birthday dinner. We reserved a table for four, although it was unnecessary since the restaurant was completely empty at 6pm. The atmosphere was great and the sushi, Udon and Habachi food was fabulous (be warned that the poke is insanely spicy). Unfortunately the waitress we had was too busy goofing off with her coworkers and playing on her phone to provide us with even the bare minimum of customer service. However the Sushi chef waited on us like we were old friends, so much so we gave him the waitress’ tip.

If possible I would have given no star. The food was good but the staff was rude. And they have a rule of 15 percent tip even for 2 people and the waitress is giving us reason they charged tip is because my 4 month needed a booster chair. That was ridiculous. The tip is from customer how much the customer wants to give not to take forcibly from customer. And the priced food was too high for the quantity you get. Would suggest not to go. Bad experience. Nothing you can get is less than $15 plus 15 percent tip.

One word for the entire experience, underwhelming. At 1:30 pm, the place was basically empty. I thought it may be a slow day, as it happens and they close at 2:30 to prepare for the dinner hours. One server, who gave us our drinks, two cokes. It was two glasses of ice and two cans of coke. She came back one other time to take our order and and deliver food. Never saw her again until the check. The food was... plain. The only thing with any flavor was the meat. Everything else lacked taste to me. I have no experience with this place before its remodel but I can honestly say it seems like it was better before this. It wasn't a "bad" experience for I am not sick or mad... just underwhelming in every part. Even the music was rather quiet
