Toast & Berry

The day before Valentine's Day I and my wife decided we wanted to do something different. Instead of the usual evening dinner, we would get brunch. Looking at several locations Toast and Berry was the choice we went with. I do recommend making reservations beforehand. Our wait time without one was an hour which is to be expected the day before Valentine's Day. But once we were alerted by text, we were seated and taken care of. Our waiter "Misty" made the experience comfortable, and enjoyable. Going over the menu options, took our orders, and frequently checked in if we needed anything. My wife enjoyed her Mimosas, I don't drink but they did taste very good. Shortly after that our food arrived fresh warm and very good. Also if you're not into brunch there are dinner options available. I Highly recommend coming here, clean, energetic, the place gives off good vibes.

Nice breakfast restaurant. We had 30 minute wait but it wasn't bad. They seemed to get people in and out fairly quickly. Once seated I ordered a vanilla latte, a little smaller than expected, but good. I ordered the blueberry Pancakes which were delicious, very fresh and hot. My friend ordered the chicken and French toast which they enjoyed as well. I also got the hash brown squares which were tasty as well. I would recommend checking out if in the area. There is plenty of parking around the building.

The food here was outstanding! I had the cinnamon roll French toast, and it was the best I have ever had - I legit savored every bite! The potatoes and bacon with it were also just as good! Nice, crisp, cooked perfectly. Likewise, the latte I ordered was made so well and so delicious. They hit every mark.

I ordered the avocado toast and a mimosa flight. My first time having avocado toast was delightful, the egg was delicious and the bread wasn’t soggy beneath it, which I hear sometimes it can be. The mimosa flight was great too. I ordered the pineapple, so tasty and my favorite, the pomegranate, not too much of a pomegranate taste but alright and the blueberry, very good with the lemon garnish. I would love to come back and try out everything else on the menu including the Bloody Mary because that looked great too!

We were in the area from Indianapolis for my birthday this past weekend. I googled breakfast spots near our hotel & read the reviews on this one & we decided to try it. So very glad we did! It was our best meal while in town & I am already trying to plan when we can go back. I wanted to try something different, so I tried the Breakfast Mac n Cheese. I LOVE Mac n Cheese. It sounded so weird for breakfast, but it was delicious. My only complaint was that the egg wasn't cooked over easy like I asked, but no biggie. I also had a side blueberry pancake & I think it was the best blueberry pancake I've ever had in my life lol. I am still thinking about it 5 days later LOL. My boyfriend had shrimp and grits. I of course tried those and they were very good. Will definitely return when in the area again.

A really great local brunch place. They have outdoor seating when it is warmer. I could see an issue if your party has more than 4 people. I didn't see very many tables that could fit a large party. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had the blueberry French toast which were very good. I highly recommend!
