Au Festin De Babette

Delicious brunch! Had the goat cheese waffles which were delicious—although I would not order them again just because everything else on the menu looks so good! My sister ordered the Saint Denis “new” which was poached eggs, smoked salmon and it came with gratin, chocolate mousse, salad, and cream of mushroom soup. The Belgian hot chocolate was also delicious—not overly sweet or creamy but very rich.

This place was so cute :) our waitress was so sweet. I speak French fluently but my partner is English and the waitress, even though English wasn’t her first language, made lots of efforts to properly communicate with us and make us feel at home. The food was excellent. For the portion size, it isn’t that expensive. My meal was 20$ and included a whole bowl of oats, fruits honey, yogurt as well as toast (AMAZING BREAD), jam, butter, maple syrup, an egg, AND crepes with a free tea! That’s insane. Genuinely that’s a steal. Also the tea was homemade and it all felt cozy and comfortable. Thank you to that waitress

What a horrible place to eat, went there twice, first and last time, I never had such tasteless food, ever heard of salt and pepper? $75 including tip for two people and left there just as hungry as I arrived , I should’ve taken the hint when you asked for a beer or a sprite and they don’t have that? I wish I could give a zero

The food is amazing but the service is slow. The brunch dishes are the best though a little pricey but you really get a good selection of food and you eat a lot! You also really must have a hot chocolate, so maybe for small appetite, consider splitting a brunch plate and a crepe, and both have a hot chocolate. Boom, starts off the day on a great note!
