La Petite Mangue

La Petite Mangue was our caterer for our intimate wedding of 30 guests. Our main concern was about dietary restrictions for some of our guests (i.e. gluten, lactose, vegetarian). Dylida was very flexible and created a cocktail menu that would suit everyone. We were very pleased with the variety and the taste. Our guests were delighted as well and kept giving positive comments about the food. Dylida was very organized and adjusted well to the small space in our kitchen. Her waiter staff were professional and attentive to our guests. Dylida and her team made our wedding day memorable!

La Petite Mangue’s food service at our wedding was second to none. We were nervous at first that some older members of our families would be overly picky with new cuisine, but my husband and I had spent some time together in Southeast Asia and were sold by the mango sticky rice dessert. We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY with the food Dylida provided. Those picky family members were the first ones going for second and third helpings of everything! Beyond the food, Dylida was the essence of kindness and professionalism. She worked carefully with us during the COVID pandemic and accommodated to the best of her abilities our constantly moving wedding date. On the day of the wedding, the waitstaff Dylida worked with actively worked towards helping us realize our dream wedding. Much of our wedding was DIY, right down to the “self-serve bar” in a canoe. Dylida and her team made sure we didn’t spend a moment worrying about whether our bar was stocked or if someone had missed the cocktail plates. We cannot thank them enough for their time and dedication to making our wedding special. 6 out of 5 stars! Thank you for everything, Dylida!

Food was okay but I will not be ordering from this place again for the single reason that they use styrofoam to package their food. 6 containers out of 8 were styrofoam which are not recyclable and toxic. There are many affordable eco friendly and biodegradable options out there; styrofoam is by far the worst and I will not support toxic garbage. It’s also very bad for our own health: “When used with food products, especially when heated, Styrofoam releases toxic chemicals into the food causing a contamination which can be hazardous to your health In addition, when exposed to sunlight,Styrofoam creates harmful air pollutants which contaminate landfills and deplete the ozone layer.”

We hired La Petite Mangue to cater our wedding. The food was amazing, we had many people tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! The staff was super friendly and very accomodating, especially considering we had to change dates a couple times due to the pandemic. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer for a wedding (or any other event!)

After having catered two previous parties that I attended, we decided to ask La Petite Mangue to cater our Christmas party of over 40 people. I'm glad we did. They are very professional and gave great suggestions. They showed up early (as we requested) and provided great food and service! We received many complements about the food.

Whenever I'm in Montreal I always make a point of eating here. Central location, intimate setting, the perfect place to meet someone. The authentic Cambodian food always delicious and full of unique flavours. I've been a few times now and the staff are very helpful if the menu doesn't have much familiar food, but I highly recommend the Amok!

Was visiting Montreal and wanted to try something different, nice decor, very friendly and attentive staff. We ordered a few things to try out and the they were all great, especially loved the soup (don't remember the name). It was later in the afternoon, so not too busy and the owner came out and chatted for a bit. We are definitely going back on our next trip to Montreal!
