Bazzarelli Restaurant & Pizzeria

First time at this restaurant. We ended up disappointed. First, my partner got the wrong salad dressing. My veal Bazzaretti was too salty. I asked for rosted potatoes and got boil potatoes instead. My carbonara looked more like a soup and the sauce did not taste like carbonara. It was more like an Alfredo sauce or something else. (I know how it should taste because I have eaten this dish in Italy many times) My daughter's soup tasted like it came directly from a can. (No love in it) the fried calamari were good as well as the mussels. I will give it another opportunity to see if we have better luck.

Love this restaurant! I was able to make a reservation and our table was ready waiting when we got there. It’s a small place but the space was divided and social distance kept as per cdc rules. The food is always amazing!! This is a family restaurant and the owner is always there and passes by making sure everything is good.

Prior to Covid attacking my hand & feet I used to come quite often & loved it. Best eggplant parm & bruscetta. 💔 to not feel like that now. This was 2nd takeout order where hot food had a paper lid & cold food had plastic lid. What a mess I had both times soaked all the way through the paper bags, too. I have had gluten-free pizza many places. It was thin cauliflower crust. It looked & tasted just like a regular thin crust pizza. I didn't need GF, but wanted cauliflower to cut carbs. Theirs was a huge disappointment. Crust was like thick cracker. I left the crust. Unfortunately after I had it & wasted a considerable amount of $, a friend who does NEED GF, told me how awful that crust is. Based on yesterday's visit, Id give 2 stars as bruscetta was good. I gave 3 cuz I did always like eggplant parm. Toooo bad I didn't order it.

Dining outside was a very nice experience. The food was delicious. I had the veal bazzarelli, which was a little on the salty side because of the additional prosciutto being a salted meat, but still really good. The fried calamari are second to none. The batter is light and crunchy and the calamari is so fresh.

This is a family owned business by folks that came from Calabria, Italy. As being first generation Italian-American with parents that immigrated from Calabria, I had high expectations of the food. I was not disappointed in the least. The salmon and the chicken francese dishes were amazing. Generous portions and delicious sauces. We had a side of meatballs for our daughter and they were huge and also delicious. They tasted exactly how my mother makes her meatballs and she is an excellent home cook according to my entire family. The wait staff were extremely friendly and the owner even had a small bouquet of flowers brought to all of the mothers in the restaurant - a very nice touch. For those of you that follow Dave Portnoy's One Bite Pizza reviews on social media, this place got a 7.7 from Dave on their pizza - a very good score. I will definitely be coming here again.

Horrible experience. Waited over an hour for our food on Mother's day. No one came to check on us and the manager did not even have the decency to apologize. While we had two kids and a pregnant woman with us. Then they messed up our order and STILL didn't apologize. Manager only showed up to ask us how we planned to pay. Very rude management.
