Kfc

I avoided this one for awhile after getting sick too many times. But the craving for a Famous Bowl hit and I gave them one more shot. The young man working, maybe a manager, was getting hit so hard with orders and calls but handled it so well and still provided fast and friendly service to those of us in line. Food was perfect and for once I actually received the cookie that comes with the meal.

Counter server was nice, professional, and was hustling her rear end off serving half a dozen people at once all by herself. I know they’ve got a looking to hire sign up and they need help. My problem was the fact that I saw two managers walking around behind the counter who couldn’t be bothered to help the ONE person up front, while customers are standing around waiting to be served. Will go to Popeyes from now on. Thanks

This was a very unique KFC. The restaurant is built on a hill. It had all its handy cap parking in the very narrow parking strip on the street side of the store, along with a few regular spots. The back side of the store has a fish tail stair case with decorative railings. The stair way comes down then splits in 2 separate directions coming down the back side of the hill to the main parking lot of the shopping plaza. Fun posters decorate the walls inside. The bathrooms are handicap friendly. A small private room is tucked around a corner with more seating. A large round family sized table that fits 6 right by the buffet table, lit by a giant KFC bucket lamp. It was a fantastic place to visit. Buffet was decent. It sure made my kids happy. The buffet was decorated with chicken statues. Only downside was that everyone working there seemed stressed out or very tired. I didn't see many smiles.

The staff was very friendly. The inside was clean and I watched as staff regularly cleaned areas that were touched or used by customers, we were only waiting 6 minutes, (lunch time)and they seemed very on top of it. We tried the new plant base nuggets. They are okay, same coating outside as the KFC you are use to, I am just getting use to plant base meats. My son, who is vegetarian, liked them a lot, so it's a great added item for him when we go out for a quick eat. The entrance has two sets of stairs, there is hardly any parking available to the other entrance where there are no stairs. But you could walk around if you want to avoid the stairs, they are not so bad and have hand rails on both sides. Really friendly folks and very clean.

Customer service ok for the restaurant. Service was good BUT quality of food horrible. I had to come home and refry the chicken. Its coating was gooey and white in certain areas it had been in warmer to long. The chicken was done ,just been in warmer to long. The season of the chicken was also lacking. But that's not restaurant fault that's the fault of their distribution. Sides were good. Biscuits tough and hard.sat to long. Sorry for this review but now I know why more people are at Popeyes. I now have tried both and they are better. I use to only eat KFC's but no more not worth the money.
