Alexander's Patisserie

Came here after hearing a lot of good things and wow I really love this place! The shop is super cute and modern inside with a wide variety of beautiful and delicious pastries. I had an earl grey raspberry one as well as a chocolate hazelnut which was excellent! For the quality of the pastries I felt that the prices were super reasonable. Seating is a bit limited after dinner time so definitely consider that! Can’t wait to be back

If I was rating for flavor and service only then this would be a higher rating. Unfortunately this time Alexander’s Patisserie only gets one star. The good: The service was quick and the friendly. The flavors were good. I had a hazelnut pastry and my husband had the monkey bread. I had a matcha latte and my husband had a latte. The bad #1: The quantity is deceiving as the hazelnut pastry actually is only the thin ring part, the chocolate top makes it look like a filled circle but it is not. Though the flavor was good, it def wasn’t enough to justify the price. The bad #2: The cafe was disgustingly dirty. The floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped in a few days let alone swept. There was a layer of dirt, dust, trash, and dead bugs on the window baseboard where we sat. Also next to our table was a layer of sticky substance that had bugs on it. Once I had noticed it, I lost my appetite. Expected better of Alexander’s.

Artistic bakery with beautiful pastries. One wouldn’t feel like eating them as they look too perfect. However, they feel little overpriced for tiny pieces. Overall the displayed desserts are a delight to eyes. Ambience is always great. They also offer to reserve tea parties and that looks fancy. Coffees are quite decent here and they have all kinds of non-dairy milk options. Mocha latte iced coffee is a treat on a sunny daynj. As it’s located in Mountain View downtown, parking areas are designated and on the back side. Overall, parking to store, it takes under 5 mins.

Breathtaking sweet treats are served here. They are so delectable and well made. Quantity is less but quality blows your mind. Pretty fast service and uber cool ambience. Coffee options aren't bad either. Got to try their Little Tahiti which is just out of this world. Definitely pricey so be prepared dip into your pockets.

This is a fantastic baking art show. Not a regular Cafe with some French baked products like Paris Baguette down the street. This is a solid world class pastry shop. Highly recommend this place to Palo Alto foodies, Mountain view foodies and the rest of the foodies especially sugar lovers. Try the bread putting as it is one of my favorite places, rustic and crunchy outside and soft and yummy inside.

We had a bad experience because of rude behaviour of staff. Paid $6 for a jasmine teabag which didn't even have a high quality. Elixir hazelnut cake was ok, nothing special about it. The biscuit at the bottom was bland without any taste and the chocolate didn't have hazelnut flavor. Their matcha croissant was better than their cake.
