Ashok Vada Pav is definitely one of those spots in Mumbai that lives up to the hype! It's a tiny stall near Kirti college, but the vada pav they serve is huge on flavor. The crispy vada, soft pav, crispy Chura and their tangy spicy chutneys with green spicy fried chillies come together for a real taste explosion. It's super popular, so there's almost always a crowd and a long waiting queue, but that's just part of the fun. Despite being a big name they are still operating street side setup and there is always a big queue for the vadapavs. Management and service desperately need a big upgrade. The vibe here is as Mumbai as it gets, with everyone from students to office workers stopping by for their quick fix. Ashok Vada Pav is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mumbai street food!

This place sells one of the best Vadapav's in Mumbai hands down! You can never be satisfied with just 1 Vadapav here, you need minimum 2. Just a small place and nothing fancy. They directly give you the vadapavs wrapped in paper and you just go and eat wherever you like. There's always a line over here and it will get longer with time so you better go in when you have some time with you coz you'll have to wait for sometime before you get your chance.

Decent vada pav. You get vada paav with lot of chutney which may not be of everyone's interest. I intentionally tried one as just a plain vada paav with no churaa and chutney and that also tasted fine. Road work in progress around it hence not enough place for the car parking.

Nestled in the heart of the town, Ashok Vada Pav stands as an iconic haven for vada pav enthusiasts. Renowned for its unbeatable taste, this place is a must-visit for anyone seeking the ultimate vada pav experience. The chur chur vada pav, a unique specialty, adds an extra layer of crunchiness to the soft and flavorful vada. What sets Ashok Vada Pav apart is the perfect harmony of flavors achieved by their exceptional chutney. The blend of spices and tanginess complements the vada pav, creating a symphony of taste that leaves a lasting impression. For a truly unforgettable experience, I highly recommend enjoying your vada pav while sitting on the beach. The combination of the delicious snack and the serene beach atmosphere creates a moment of pure bliss. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that captures the essence of the town's culinary culture. In summary, Ashok Vada Pav is more than a food destination – it's a culinary journey that encapsulates the spirit of tradition and flavor. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this establishment guarantees a delightful and memorable taste adventure that you won't find anywhere else.

This was one of the best vadapav I’ve eaten in Mumbai. Tamarind chutney hits different, crispy Chura in the vadapav is like cherry on a cake. We didn’t expect that we’ve to be in Que to have vada pav. But Que of 15/20 minutes was worth.

4.5/5. It's remarkable how this place is an iconic venue in Mumbai, and yet it is so easy to miss. A small, unassuming stall outside a college. The crowd practically engulfs the whole place. The vada pav is ace! With lots of chura, and chutney. They tailor the heat levels based on your choice (low, med, high tikha). A must visit in Mumbai.

Priced @30, different and yummy. People stand patiently in queue for 15 -20 minutes. Eating at shop not allowed due to rules so Take away but you can stand nearby and have it. Next to kirti college and 2 minutes walk from dadar beach and 5 minutes walk from Sidhivinayak mandir. Accepts Paytm etc.

This place is super hyped but meets the expectations. Big Vada, big Pav, 3 varieties of chutney (green, sweet tamarind, red powder) and crispy Chura to top it off. The Vada itself is delicious and always served hot. Can’t get any better in my opinion.

I had seen this place surfacing on Instagram a lot of times because of which I added this to my list of places to try when in Mumbai. This place is very famous in Mumbai. It is apparently one of the oldest vada pav centres and very close to the Siddhi Vinayak Temple. There was a queue for the vadapav. We tried their ‘sukha vadapav’ which was really good. The only uniqueness in this vadapav was that it was crispier because of the chura they give along with the vadapav, as compared to vadapavs that you get in other places. Would recommend to try this place at least once.

We specially went there to taste the vadapav along with their very famous chutney. I heard about this Ashok vadapav a lot on social media and therefore we were there on a Sunday morning to taste their vadapav. It is a very small stall kinda shop, in Dadar. There was a long queue for buying vadapav. They have keep is very systematic to avoid crowding at the stall. If you want to buy the vadapav, you need to stand in the queue for your turn to come. So, we stood in the queue. Upon getting our vadapav, we sat in the car and had it, as crowding and standing near the stall was not allowed. The quality and quantity both of the vadapav was delicious and up to the mark. It tasted really good along with the chutney and chura. Also, it was served hot and was crispy. (Chura is their speciality) Overall, the experience of having vadapav there was just amazing. You should definitely try their vadapav atleast once. (Tip: You can take their vadapav and walk 2 minutes straight to the Dadar beach and enjoy having the vadapav sitting by the beach).
