The recent visit was excellent as I got a waiter who voluntarily recommended to me that the dish I was ordering just for 2 people might be very much so we went on ordering the Butter Chicken for the first time right after we had Apple Chicken Schezwan Sauce Half (only 5 pieces would request delhi darbar to make it 6 please) and it was the best Butter Chicken I probably had in many years and kudos to the kitchen staff for not taking long and making us wait, the service was quick and the ambience was also very pleasant. 10/10 would recommend. Also by my past visits this was the best outlet experience in fact much better than the Mahim outlet.

I recently dined at Jaffer Bhai - Mashid, an establishment conveniently located near the Crowford Market Junction on the way to Mohd Ali Road. Parking can be a bit of a gamble here, so you're on your own in that regard. The restaurant occupies the first floor, reserving the space below for the bustling kitchen.
The overall ambiance was quite pleasing, exuding a Middle Eastern vibe without going overboard on extravagance. The generous use of mirrors throughout the restaurant added a unique touch.
Now, let's get to the highlight - the food. While Jaffer Bhai is renowned for its Biryani, we decided to explore other options this time. We began with the Mughail, a delightful choice.
For starters, we savored the Chicken Boti Tikka, a medley of perfectly cooked chicken pieces marinated in their signature spices and charred on charcoal, elevating its flavor profile to extraordinary heights. This dish was served alongside a Coriander and Mint Chutney, creating a stellar combination that easily earns a perfect score.
Moving on to the main course, we ventured into the realm of Chicken Lahori Tawa. The gravy was an absolute revelation, captivating our taste buds from the very first bite. The boneless chicken pieces were incredibly tender, swimming in a creamy, impeccably cooked sauce. This dish was accompanied by Reshmi Roti and Rumali Roti, a pairing that seemed like a match made in culinary heaven.
Although we regrettably missed out on their famed Biryani, our taste buds were so thoroughly impressed by the food we did try that there's no doubt the Biryani would have been equally superb.
In addition to its culinary prowess, Jaffer Bhai's offerings are also kind on the pocket, making it an excellent choice for those seeking delicious fare without breaking the bank.
I'm already looking forward to my next visit, eager to explore their other delectable offerings, and of course, indulge in their renowned Biryani. This experience was one for the books!

Been there during Ramzan with friends for Iftikaar this season. This place initially was by a different name and now taken over by Jaffer Bhai outlet, perhaps a weaker among those I have visited. The chicken kadhai was very oily it was more of oily kadhai, butter chicken was good but slightly sweet, and tandoori would be star which was ravishing along with kebabs. It's still needs improvement as to up the grade with that brand name.
Also someone please correct the address girgav is far located then what's mentioned in address

If u love mughlai dishes, this in one of the gem. We have ordered chicken tikka, korma and tandoori roti. The chicken tikka kebab is one of the finest I have ever tried. And the make the best chicken korma in India. 4.5/5 (-0.5 for little bit of slow service)

As salaamu alaykum (peace be upon you) dear brothers and sisters, how are you all? You can now travel to Mumbai without any hesitation or fear of covid, which was anyways self created.
Today I’m writing about THIS famous eatery house called Delhi Darbar. It serves some typical Mughlai and Awadhi cuisine, and they are famous for their biryani. It’s pioneer owner Jafferbhai expired last year and may he rest in peace, amen.
We, the 3 Sayeds, visited this place a week back since my son Arsh wanted to dine there. This was after special Ramadaan namaaz at around midnight time, and fortunately for us, the restaurant was still open to serve us food.
We ordered Al Baik style fish fry served with Toum, the garlic dip. Delicious. Crispy. Al Baik is a chain of store in Saudi Arabia famous for their fish and chicken fries.
Then we had Mutton Khichda, which is a tedious blend of broken wheats and pulses, and then separately cooked mutton added to it, and then the entire thing is all cooked to perfection by adding fried onions and mint and lemon, and THE GHEE or clarified butter. Finger licking it is. You will enjoy this just by itself, although a person like me loves to eat it along with a tanduri naan or chapati. It’s a heavy and filling dish. Quantity was reasonably good.
And then came their most popular Mutton Biryani. Biryani tastes best when cooked on a slow DUM fire with mutton in it. Of course if you’re a health conscious person, or prefer to eat chicken rather than mutton, chicken biryani is also served here. Earlier they used to serve Dahi raita along with biryani, but not anymore. Everyone has gone commercial, so dahi kachumar raita has to be ordered separately. I wish they didn’t charge this separately and included it in the meal itself.
We finished it off with a soft drink to settle down all that heavy food, but delicious no doubt.
YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE AT LEAST ONCE.
