Firstly, I think this place hasn't been given justified reviews.. primarily because with the look, people take it as a place for LIG's to visit. Well, I have visited enough places and exclusive South Indian ones from National Capital to all over South India.. Firstly, the hotel is 76 years old ! Yeah Circa 1953.. The layout and the marble settings you see inside is 41 years old..Yeah..they haven't changed it and trust me, it looks as good as new ! They take lot of pride in their job, making good and tasty food and feeding you..Rates are nominal for the service and for a place like 5mins in a cab from CST.. I had Butter Idli and Ghee Roast. It was very well made..as good as or better than many hifi vegetarian outlets.. If you want to a authentic..clean and good South Indian food with appreciable ambience.., you won't be disappointed.. And I said Authentic as the first expression because other places may fancy you with lights and space.. but they all tweek authenticity ! Rather quite tough to reach that spot.. So wonderful place.. Will definitely go and try some other dish next time..maybe over lunch.. They have an AC Family Room on Level 1..So, don't get discouraged with the lean trim space on Ground Floor alone..

This hotel is the best hotel guys trust me.... It looks simple from outside but the food is daam tasty.. Visiting this hotel last 2 3 years.... Have tried their all paneer sabzi... The quantity of food is very good... I tried their Manchurian, masala papad. Also guys I tiredt their handi biryani 😍it wass daaam good..... Just loved it😍🔥❤

Oldest vegetarian restaurant at kalbadevi. Best for southindian food. Also u can taste punjabi thali and northindian dishes. Pineapple shira they use to serve with southindian thali was very tasty. They hve stopped stopped southindian thali after lockdown .best management. Ginger tea is also best and cheap. I am regular at this restaurant and tasted all dishes they serve. Owner is down to earth person and always alert with customer satisfaction and service’s.they don’t accept credit card payment and not linked with ZOMATO or swiggy.
