Typical Irani restaurant, very good too. Try mutton patty/ samosa there. Yummy! As on 6th Feb, the hotel is closed, probably for renovation.

The place was really really good so far as the taste is concerned. Unfortunately it's been shut indefinitely. Another amazing restaurant bites the dust.

Just another bakery in town that serves delicious breakfast and food items and more. I always come here for a quick breakfast to start off my day. Their freshly baked chicken pattice is one of my favourite here. Nowhere will you find this chicken pattice. They have ample of seating space and the look of this restaurant is simple. It resembles more of a famous irani cafe.

Byculla Restaurant and Bakery is one of the oldest surviving Irani bakeries which are rare to find in South Mumbai these days. It reminds us of the old fashioned era as it has antique wooden furniture like tables and chairs which date back to more than 60 years. This space gave me nostalgic feelings. It is very well maintained and kept clean on the whole. It serves chicken and mutton pattices, cakes, mawa Samosas, mawa cakes, pastries, bread. It has a small department of general stores where one can get biscuits, chocolates, etc. A must visit place if one is in Mumbai. You can sit and eat as long as you want to. The food items served here are not costly. They do give us parcels to, if one wishes to take their food items home. Waiters are there to serve you so you have table service. Staff is quite old as many of them are working here since years. It is a family friendly place. Tissues are provided. It is owned and operated by Parsi Irani gentlemen who work in shifts. It is bang opposite Byculla Railway Station on the East. It is a casual and kids friendly place and restaurant.

Love how they have maintained the look and feel of the place. Takes you back to the old days. Breakfast dates would go pretty well here. Chai is good. Omelette-bread, mutton pattice, custard are a must-try. This place is right across Byculla Railway Station (East).
