Mission Bbq

Great atmosphere in this military favored all American BBQ restaurant. I ordered the barbecue sampler with brisket, short ribs, and chicken. The plate came out quick and the staff was very friendly. At the table there are a variety of sauces from all over the country which was nice. No matter where you're from a taste of home is waiting for you. The barbecue was pretty good for a restaurant. A little salty on the ribs a little dry on the chicken and the brisket was OK. But all in all for barbecue on the ready served in less than 5 minutes from your order, pretty decent meal. I'll be back.

Weird first visit. Stopped in with my daughter just get her some Mac and cheese. Staff was visibly disappointed that customers walked in. Two of the young ladies made it clear they did not want to deal with anyone at that time. I image the lunch rush was very busy and we came in around 3pm down time. Also thought the food was really expensive for the quantity. Got 2 sides, a slice of cornbread, and a drink and it came up to 12 bucks. She initially said $7 and said “oh wait $12”. I was trying to do the math on she came to that number but I had a toddler running around the store and didn’t wanna delay getting her the Mac and cheese. Food tasted good. And as a service member I appreciated the decor. I don’t know if I’d stop in again though.

Hands down the most patriotic restaurant I have ever been in. At noon, every day, everyone stops what they're doing and they play the national anthem. Everything in this restaurant honors our military, veterans, fire fighters, and police officers. The food was really good BBQ and the customer service was top notch. I would absolutely eat here again.

Not great but not horrible either. I've had worse. I had the sampler platter with brisket, pulled chicken, and baby back ribs. My sides were mac and cheese and the kickin collard greens. All of the meats were over cooked. The chicken was mushy. The brisket had no smoke flavor and was crumbly. The ribs were also over cooked, dry, and had no flavor. The ribs also had a not so good smell to them. I couldn't tell if they were smoked or not because the meat was grey with no signs of a smoke ring or taste. The mac and cheese was dry and tasted like krafts. The collard were ok but too soupy and the tomatoes aren't my thing in collards. With bbq sauce everything was edible. Everyone was polite. The decor is all out patriotism. I felt like I was in a war/military/police museum. With that being said, I don't think I will be going back. There are better bbq places to go to.

We have been to Mission BBQ about 3 times. Every time we have guests in from out of town we take them there and they love it. The food is always good, I like the pulled pork sandwiches for me and the sides are really good. The people are so friendly and servers come by and chat with us every time. Very homey atmosphere. am always touched by the salute to the U.S. each day and love how serious people are about it. We are planning to go there today, as a matter of fact.

5⭐️- willing to travel Everything and I mean everything is good. From the smoked meats, sides and sauces. We travel a lot and make it a point to look for the best bbq and this is definitely one of them, chain or not. Best part is that the restaurant comes to a stand still when they play the star spangled banner at noon everyday.
