Peg Leg Porker

If I could give them 5 more stars I would. Their dry rub is method is excellent. The Mrs and I shared a rack of ribs, pulled pork, 4 chicken wings, Mac n cheese, green beans, potato salad, kool-aid pickles, baked beans, banana pudding and two cups of water. Every thing was cooked perfectly and will having me dreaming about my next trip to Nashville

Walking in, the line was to the door and the place was packed. They steadily ran through the line in about 12-15 mins and my food was ready in about 5 minutes. Everything fell off of the bone and had an excellent dry rub. The white sauce was very good and the medium BBQ sauce was just tangy enough. Definitely recommend the combo platter and sweet tea. Sides 7/10. Meats 11/10.

Excellent representation of TN BBQ. Ribs are seasoned really well, and they really don’t need a sauce. I ate about half dry and half with the mild sauce. The mild sauce knocked some of the bite of the dry rub down a notch and gave it a bit more balance. The sides were recommended by the counter staff and both were excellent. Baked beans and mac and cheese are both good. The Mac and cheese is very creamy with big shells. It’s an extremely casual restaurant so come as you are. Get in line and grab a seat, or just sit directly at the bar. The line was long but moves fast and I had my food within a minute or two of ordering. Recommendation: share a half rack and grab a pork sandwich or the wings.

You can't visit Nashville without having some of the best BBQ that you will ever eat!!!! Their ribs are my favorite! And if you like Mac and cheese, get 2 sides because it's incredible!!! My husband loves their pulled pork and beans! Make sure to grab some soul potatoes to share, you won't regret it! Makes my mouth water just doing the review!

Casual BBQ atmosphere... our first visit & highly recommended by our dynamic Trolley Tour guide, Hunter! The smells walking up the block from where we parked were making us drool! We tried the nachos & pulled pork sandwich. Sides baked beans (very tasty with home made flavor) & mac n cheese, which was very tasty although a little peppery. Pulled pork is super tender with a nice smoky, but not overpowering flavor. Mild sauce was available to take to your table if you wanted to add to your sandwich. Very tasty food & very good service... cashier was parietal with us newbies & answered all our questions... we'll be back! 🐖🐖🐖

Came to Nashville with friends, we were craving bbq found peg leg porker and wanted to give it a try after all the great reviews. They exceeded expectations the food, service and restaurant itself was amazing. I had the 1/3 pulled pork with coleslaw and fries,the pulled pork just fell apart and delicious as all can be. If your in Nashville and craving some BBQ definitely check out this place you will be glad you went.

Best BBQ in Nashville! I visit as often as I can and really enjoy the BBQ Nachos, Pulled Pork Sandwich topped w/Coleslaw and their Mac & Cheese. Prices are reasonable, service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere is BBQ chic and utilitarian. Over the years the area around the restaurant has grown exponentially so finding parking can sometimes be a nightmare…BUT, if you’re patient a space will open!
