It is an authentic mughlai restaurant and if you are a big foody then this is the place to be. Their Makhani Dal and Paneer Lababdaar are the best in India according to me. Yes right - 'Best in India !' It is the right tag to give these dishes. Both are differently prepared unlike any other restaurants you must have been to. I have been going to this restaurant since I was 5 years old and I must say their food is amazing. You should be very hungry when you go there because the food is very heavy and buttery. Always choose Tandoori roti instead of naan. You will be surprised to see something as simple as tandoori roti is so nice and tasty here. Starters to order - Dahi Kebab or Chilly Mushrooms.

Have been a fan of this restaurant for more than 2 decades . Their DAL makhni is the BEST in the world !!! It’s not even close to what many good restaurants serve . It’s magical and unique. Their kebabs and all tandoori items are delicious well cooked and roasted. All the menu items are scrumptious and they have been able to maintain the quality all these years . The ambiance is basic and 80’s style but in case u are looking out for authentic delicious and fingerpicking mughlai foods ! It’s the place!!!

New minar is your old school Gymkhana club type restraunt in terms of its ambience and feel. The food is always exceptional. Well worth the price which may have you wondering why so much for Indian food. I have had a half butter chicken there that 4 people struggled to finish. Even though we really wanted to. You can taste the butter, it's absolute soul food. Their daal makhani is equally amazing. Their malai chaap is a true ideal of what a malai chaap could be. Their naans and rotis are exceptional. Soft and flavorful. Their butter naans come with sesame and kalaunji, which really imbues a tantalizing fragrance. The portions are generous and the flavours are lively and hearty. I've been eating here for close to 6 years now. I've never been disappointed. Every time my family visits from abroad i bring them here for a meal.

Butter Chicken is Second to None. Garlic Prantha was well cooked. On zomato menu listed price of Full Butter Chicken is 995 but it's 1095. Although it doesn't matter when U get authentic Fresh and delicious Food. One negative point - my waiter used his hands to pack the left over Garlic Naan which I did not appreciate. Upon asking him why he did so he didn't comment, looked down and left (usual protocol of restaurant workers). No apologies either. I had seen waiters wearing gloves and masks when I entered the place. The masks were always ON but the gloves came off. I request the owners to make sure the waiters don't play clever.
