The Sweet Jar

My cousins from the vicinity showed this place and needless to say in many years its been the only place that matches pan Delhi quality taste and ambience. Good variety of snacks and bakery. They don't use sugar in their coffees so a plus point for that. Dimsums are fresh and tasteful. Sandwiches baked to perfection. Still to try a cake.

The sweeet jar to fulfill cravings of your sweeet tooth. This is a cafe and bakery with a beautiful ambiance that will make your every second spent here worth a while. Their menu is vast and have plenty of mouthwatering items to have on your checklist. From soups to shakes you can have all on your table. They offer variety of pastas but baked pasta would be the star and coupling it with any shake it would make an perfect bliss. Pizza lovers can have thin crust pizza and they offer spinach momos which set them apart from others. You can end your exploring with some pastries and hand made chocolates.

Semi bakery and semi cafe, sweeet jar is a wonderful place to your peal, its fairly big, the lower section is a bakery and when you go upstairs it's a cafe with live TV. Decor is cool, plenty of space if you want to throw a party, can easily handle a group of 5-10. Now about food you'll maily get continental and Asian food here. I had pasta with red sauce, peri peri cottage cheese pizza and butter scotch shake, pasta was good, had little gravy was little spicy, pizza had a thin crust, was loaded with cottage cheese and zucchini. Just FYI the Italian food here is great, go for pizza, pasta, lasagna and shakes, no words, undoubtedly the best shakes in whole East Delhi or probably Delhi. My experience was truely wonderful here, its a pocket friendly place with very good food and its a quiet and peaceful place, give it a visit soon.

Fantastic place to sit & enjoy the lovely winters of Delhi over some great coffee. The coffee is decent but their shakes & food is really good. Now, be it the superb "Death by Chocolate" or their varied choices of pasta & pizza, everything is definitely worth trying. I love their ambience too, especially the seating area just outside. Overall, it is worthy of your visit if you are in East Delhi.

Stumbled on this place by accident, we were checking out the neighbourhood around our hotel and boom, we walk in. After a day celebrating Holi what better way to have our afternoon tea. We got a pound cake and the house treated us to some of their exquisite tea biscuits...it's that hospitality we encountered over and over in India, whether in a humble tea stand by the side of the road or a place like this.
